**WARNING** Newbie Incoming

Well hello there friend. I welcome you to my post! If you did not notice the "warning" in the title, this serves as your warning now. I am so new it is painful. I am so new that I am not even out of the plastic wrap (insert 18+ joke about being so new....). I am readying all that I can get my hands on and trying to learn as much as I can. This post is not to solicit a mentor, but to let the anyone who is interested know that I am leaning and new to the community. Although if anyone wanted to serve as a mentor, I would not look that gift horse in the mouth. I some day would love to participate as a GM, but first I must learn the game. What drew me to this site is my interest to play classic D&D campaigns, but I am open to leaning anything. I am free after work around 6pm PST (Cali) and on every other weekend. Hello world!!
Hey Lady Skyy! DM with 25+ years of experience here. I run free one-shots every week, so let me know if you’d like a custom game made for you. My Discord tag...DM Tauzy#2334
I think your best bet is to educate yourself about the game system you prefer, but also to just jump into a game. You'll learn faster and have fun doing it. Some GMs may even allow you to spectate if you're too shy to play at first.
Hey, Lady Skyy! Normally, I run paid games, but I actually just posted a FREE TO PLAY game earlier this morning! I'm very experienced with teaching new players, and super patient. If you wanna jump in the game, we'd love to have you! https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9509882/lfp-tips-encouraged-5e-pro-dm-looking-to-run-you-through-an-interesting-spin-on-hoard-of-the-dragon-queen-start-with-an-uncommon-magical-item/?pageforid=9509882#post-9509882
I have a Star Wars Saga Ed game every other Saturday evening at 7pm pst if you are interested. There are some new players and some experienced ones so you wouldn't be alone.
