As payment to the mysterious Mages of Saruun for reviving their commanding officer, who was transformed into black ice by a nefarious assassin, the adventuring party agrees to "neutralize" a pack of rampaging gnolls within Thunderspire Labyrinth. The "alpha" gnoll leading the pack is suspected of having demonic blood judging by its bat-like wings, spell-casting abilities and poisoned tail stinger but the heroes are up to the challenge! Are you? This game is part of a D&D 5e campaign that uses the D&D 4e setting of the "Nentir Vale", the 4e pantheon and has House Rules; see  Game Listing  forum for more details and to submit a player application. This adventure is adapted from a portion of the D&D 4e adventure "Thunderspire Labyrinth" and continues with "Madness at Gardmore Abbey" starting in January. We just finished "Reavers of Harkenwold" and the current average party level (APL) is 5.5.
