We are a group of 4 people at the moment with our main group. 3 of us have more than 10 years of DM experience and the other with more than 10 years of player experience. We are Fable Table Games and we do not seek just another player. We are looking for potential friends who want to be part of a group that puts more effort into every aspect of the game as well as be part of a newly revamped Stream to build together. Also while supporting each others other content whether solo or as a group effort. We will of course use roll20 for any games we plan to play with a variety of our custom settings. We will switch off DM's and campaigns to keep things fresh occasionally. We will have flexible times of play, though due to our effort in other aspects we will be playing either biweekly or monthly depending on everyone's schedule. And will be lenient with those who are able to keep up consistent contact but we will not accept ghosting. We are an experienced mature group with a great love of the hobby and would expect a prospective member to have the same. We will not charge each other for any game we play together. There will be a process for accepting new members that want the best experience and mature group to have fun and make content with. 1. Contact me via private message. First on Roll20 then you will be given my Discord Link. Discord required. 2. Write us a short paragraph about your experience as a player and the aspects you wish most to see in a game. 3. Have a short Roleplay Exercise(15-20 minutes) to get a feel for how you roleplay and test your on the spot roleplay ability. We want members who focus heavily on roleplay. You don't have to be an Oscar winner but you must have an idea of how to roleplay properly and have no squeamishness about it. 4. Talk with the group for awhile. We would like members can actively engage in conversation, even if it's unrelated. We're looking team members not spot fillers. Etiquette Expectations 1. Evasion of any and all Metagaming. 2. Patience, no arguing/long winded complaining in the middle of the game(except in character). EVER. This breaks immersion for everyone. Do not argue when Stream is live. No one wants to watch or listen to that. 3. Be to able to hold off complaints until after the session.Then address them in a mature manner, and we'll fix it. 4. Good use of Spotlight sharing. Actively engaging other player characters in conversations about battle plans, casual speak, "what should we do", etc. and not just roleplaying to NPC's. 5. Not exactly an Etiquette thing but must have Decent quality mic and camera(or be willing to cooperate to get one) as Roleplay is more immersive when we see each others pantomime and facial expressions. Must avoid background noise in any way possible. Use Push-To-Talk if you need to if something is really loud out of your control, such as construction outside. 6. Be open to systems you have not played, or willing to use 3rd party content to make better use of the rules to fit with the setting. 7. Be nice, don't show up with a bad attitude and take it out on other people with petty jabs. Passive Aggressiveness isn't cool. 8. Be cool, it is a game after all. We take our game seriously but not to the point of fighting each other. 9. Be an active player in any way that you can that is appropriate and within the scope of that characters personality and abilities. 10. Pay attention If you're doing something that makes you not able to pay attention so say beforehand. A brb in chat will suffice. 11. Do your best to have fun. Not to win. Not to gain. But to Play and be involved. 12. Obligatory no racism, intolerance, bigotry, etc etc. We like some dark humor but we don't like actual bigotry. 13. Willingness to engage in a variety of campaign settings. We will not be sticking with standard fantasy all the time. Sci fi, Horror, Post-Apocalyptic and Surrealism are also some of our favorite genres. We hope they're yours as well. I know I sound like it's a big deal but I feel like this is required for the level that we are attempting to play at. Especially if we're going to be streaming. I don't expect you to put any money or anything into a group funds or anything like that, but we will certainly accept it if you find that we are worth it. Treat us well and we will do the same.
