Hello all! I'm Naomi, and I'm currently in a group that's searching for a 5e DM. Our old DM ditched us after a day or so of discussion regarding our characters and backstories. We're not really sure as to why- they randomly deleted the server we used to communicate- but we decided to go ahead and search for a new one. Some info about our group: Members and Experience: We have four players right now, most of which usually run games as the DM. We're familiar with the rules, just searching for an opportunity to participate as a player. Schedules: Our timezones vary. I am EST, two others are CST, and one is UTC. The day that works best for us is Wednesday, starting at around 8 pm UTC . What we're looking for: We'd really like a DM who focuses on RP and character backstory above combat. The story is what draws us all in. If you're willing to run interesting character arcs that implements each PC's backstories, this would probably be the game for you. We're looking for a longer campaign rather than one shots. We've also agreed to play through text , as it's easiest for all of us, so don't expect any other form of communication.
