Paladin contacts Lt. House to come and get the unconscious
animen and the Bulette that they defeated at the end of Session 32.
6PM at the Mesa Grill Constable meets with Carol Cross, the
14 your old STEM prodigy that hangs out in the lab with Dr. Gene LaJune and
Constable a.k.a. Keith Cameron. She warns him of a few things that she
overheard at Directed Energy Technologies. Such as the investors are pressuring
Dr. LaJune to replace Keith as the suit pilot (because of the death of
Francisco Saietta) and wanting better results on the suits tests.
Constable assures her that things are okay and then asks her
about her life. She talks about the new school term starting, Constable asks
about boyfriends, she answers she does not have the time for such thing.
Constable encourages her to do more than just work.
After dinner he goes to the lab where he and Gene LaJune
start tearing into the Constable armor to incorporate what Keith has learned
from his field testing.
Thursday September 6, 2018
7PM Rick Running Wolf, a spider themed mutant who has fled Milwaukee because of growing violence against mutants in
his home region, arrives in New York
City. The rest of the passengers are relieved when the
multi-eyed, multi-legged, creature gets off the bus at the station in Brooklyn.
As Rick is getting off three vans in the parking lot morph
into robots, Genocide Robots MK 1. The G-bots attack Rick (a.k.a. Iktomi)
intent on killing him. The battle attracts the attention of the nearby Brooklyn
Brigade.
The Brigade plus Iktomi destroy one of the G-Bot. Then
Kismet whisks Iktomi off the field of battle removing the reason for the G-Bots
to be here. The remaining two blast off. Constable flies after them at a
discrete distance to see where they go.
The robots land and return to their van modes and try to
loose themselves in the traffic. The vans go in different directions. The one
that Constable follows drives for 15 minutes then parks at a truck stop and
shuts itself off.
Constable lets Paladin know and he apprises Lt. House. House
sends a P.A.R.T. unit to watch the parked ‘van’ letting Constable returns to
the base.
Constable is uneasy with Iktomi, Constable has a phobia of
spiders and Iktomi, a arachnid pattered mutant, freaks him out.
Paladin concerned about refreshing the ranks of the Brigade
has Pearl Ivy do a background check on Iktomi. Paladin is considering offering
him membership in the Brigade.
Constable writes a report evaluating the performance of the
2.0 armor. He also starts modifying the armor with an abundance of kill codes
to prevent the armor from falling into the wrong hands, or even the hands of
the investors who paid for its construction.
Saturday September 8, 2018
10PM Paladin’s monitoring the police bands looking for policemen
in trouble finally pays off. An officer calls out in a panic that he needs
assistance. A pair of officers were being waylaid by six police officers who
were transformed into vampires!
The superheroes quickly dispatch the vampires. A single
vampire escapes telling Paladin that the ‘state of grace’ that Gratz bestowed
upon him was not longer in effect.
Constable goes into the diner where the police were ambushed
and bought a mop. The then breaks the mop handle into stakes and finishes off
the vampires.
Kismet used her healing powers to save one of the two police
who were attacked. The other officer was protected by Constable and was
unharmed.
