[DnD 5e] Looking for 1 more! Tonight (Tuesdays) at 8:00 PM EST!

Hey all, We are looking to add one more to our ranks to a weekly game. We are currently playing 5th edition dungeons and dragons (the playtest). We are comfortable with people who may not know the rules, but you need to know what a role playing game is. For our players, we ask that everyone have 5 traits: 1. Know this is an Role playing game and not a video / board game. 2. You can work well with others in a team scenario 3. You are polite and respectful to others whom you do not know 4. Enjoy creating personalities which may differ from your own and playing them as they would react to the world around you. 5. Have an active imagination 5a. Can attend weekly gaming sessions. We play every Tuesday at 8:00 PM EST. If you join, it would be for a single session, at which point the existing players will confer to decide if we invite you to stay on further. (Personalities need to mesh, obviously) If you are interested, please post your age, what games you have any experience playing, what kind of character you would like to play, and a little about their personality. Hi my name is seine k. and althought I know I probably to young to join(being 13) I have attended a weekly fnm for magic the gathering for about a year now and have been to numerous grand prix so I know what it is like to be the only king in the room :p.I am able to attened weekly exept for one week in july when I am going away.Anyway just looking for a good group who is open to a newbie. I would be interested. I DM myself (Next), and play in another D&D Next game, have Tuesdays 8pm open, and exemplify the five traits you are looking for. I tend to lead when there are lulls in chat (if everyone stops talking, i'll try to progress us forward) and like to step back when other players are doing well, interjecting only when they are doing something recklessly dangerous to the party. My question would be: Which Playtest are you using? As the Alpha is out and contains classes that ones before do not have. Edit: Age 22

I can vouch for John. Very fun games with him. (he DM'd a few Reclaiming Blingdenstone games that were quite enjoyable)

I'm very quick to hand out praise where GM's are concerned. As unfavorable as the GM to Player ratio is, it's important to know who does a good job at it :) edit: And I think I made him genuinely giggle at some point, which is always a goal.

I wish I had seen this sooner; I'd have liked to play, but it looks like you've gotten more than enough applicants! Actually, an odd request, since it looks like you folks are playing shortly this evening; is there any chance I could drop in and watch? I know that makes me sound a bit creepy, like some kind of RP voyeur, but to tell the truth I started reading about 5e far too late. I didn't get to play with any of the beta material before it poofed and I'm very curious as to how it all works. The OP didn't mention anything about needing voice capabilities, so I assume that a large portion of it would be text based, such that I could learn what's going on without being invasive or disruptive. I hope that isn't rude to ask. It certainly sounds bizarre. My apologies in advance.
