Music won't play half of the time and some players experience a 'pixelated' map

Hey, since a few days we keep having a few troubles. While the GM is always hearing the music, half of the time the players won't hear it and when we hear it it is mostly stuck and broken. Nothing helps - clearing the cache, changing browsers, reloading several times. It is a trial and error situation which makes playing rather tedious whenever there is a change in music. Additionally some players experience a 'pixelated' map bug where the map won't show up as it should but rather blurry which makes it unable to see anything proper. Any help would be appreciated.

This started happening to me on Thursday as well.  I'm on a very high end PC.  I had a very stable 550mb download and 100mb upload speed, my ping was 16ms, I've cleared my cache, no other applications web based or video games are running slow.

I'm using Firefox but when I tried it via Chrome it was the same issue. I have cleared the cache again and again. no improvements. All of my addons were disabled. The console log is too long to post it here.... EDIT: My connection is not the culprit here as I have a stable download Mbps 100 and an upload Mbps 54 with a ping of 4ms

We have to abort our play this evening because the same problems are not really bearable. My players (and sometimes, but not so often me) have the same problems, and we are all using Firefox, no Add-Ons and cleared our cache. Is it maybe possible that because of the current lock-down-situations R20 is overburden?

Same here, too. Seems to be a greater problem. Musik doesn't work or just for a few seconds. The maps are not sharp. Playing is quiet impossible. My cache is cleard automatically every time my browser is closed, no adds on. Also relogging doesn't work. The problem still remains for weeks yet! Read always "clear cache and so on. Neither for me nor for my friends it works. Had many great years with R20 but now think about searching a more reliable plattform with my group...

As of today I have a theory since it is mostly happening between 8-10 PM CET with the Saturdays as its worst. It could be that the problem doesn't lie with Roll20 itself but with the tracing routes from the amazon servers as the players in my campaign who happen to have a good connection are on a different ISP than the ones who experience this issue. May I ask which ISPs are experiencing this issue? I'm with Telekom Germany

I'm with Telekom Germany Me too - but maybe I've got a solution - because my wife also got the same problem with a different PC (and I also tried every possible browser with my own pc and still got this problem) - she just opened a free wifi from her smartphone and it worked - so I started our router again (it is also from telekom) and since today in the morning everything works fine for me. Not the best solution but better than a gamebreaking bug - maybe you can try it too.

I had the same problems for about 3 weeks now. Thanks to Yannic, this solved everything!! (my fritzbox wasn't up to date) edit: as I realized after my post, this was the solution only for a few games, some are still having this issues on my notebook, the much newer, faster desktop-pc performs as bad as before. This affects a bought module as well as to self-built games. :(

It is weird that for some players in my group in the same game everything works fine.

Ok, me again - restarting the router just solved the problem for like - 2 hours, now I've got the same problem again. Come on guys, this is really bad because I can not really be a good gamemaster, if I can't hear any music.

If you don't hear back in-thread, take the logs and reports that Nightshade asked you to make and submit them into a&nbsp; Help Center Request . That will create a ticket, which can be assigned to a team member. Technically, once there is mod presence, there should be a dev alerted about the thread, but the Help Center is a surer method.
