After returning home, the party spends some time identifying their looted treasures and selling the ones they can't use. As part of the process, Oscar attunes Rev'os'ayk, the spear taken from Zonlos the Chosen, leader of the Sapphire Song. An unknown voice speaks to him as he bonds the spear, demanding subservience. Oscar agrees, to as-yet-unknown consequences. The party has found evidence of a greater Council beyond the Sapphire Song, whose leader was just one member of this group. With the help of some divination from Anha the Violet, they have discovered clues about the whereabouts and imprisoned gods each member is serving. After the ritual, Anha reports that someone on the other end is aware that she was seeking them, and severs the connection before that entity can learn more. Arbran, the God of Tornadoes has a locus of power to the west, and his mortal follower, who is connected through the amulet, is located in the north. The Twin God Baern and Goddess Toil, of either Death or the Afterlife (stories are unclear) has a locus of power to the northeast, and his mortal follower iis located in the south. The Goddess of Metal, Me'im, has a locus of power to the southeast, and her mortal follower's link has been severed. Ayk, God of the River, has a locus of power centered in the city. His mortal follower's link has been severed, but a new link is growing in its place. Naomis, the Goddess of Caves and Deep Places, has a locus of power somewhere to the southwest. Her mortal follower's link traces to Yenelas City itself. The party reports their findings to the night guard, who promises to speak to Anha and alert the spymaster, but seems to lack urgency. In the hopes of discovering more on their own time, the four went to the College of Lanterns, the local bards focused on exploration and discovery. In order to avoid the night shift, Oscar turned himself into a cat and snuck into their records building, absconding with twelve journals centered in twelve different regions of Bacia.
