Hello to all who may have opened this letter, I hope it finds you well, and that the dreary dullness hasn't set in too deep. I'm looking for adventurers keen on solving the ancient mysteries and fighting unspeakable evils in the valley of Barovia, a land plagued by all manner of horrors, beasts, aberrations, abominations, and above all, a vampire lord who may be the lifeblood of all of his leeching kind. The vale is sad and gloomy, rain falls often, and a chill wind blows through it's misshapen trees, and as such, the people are equally as morose. If the thought of understanding the souls who eek a living within a small kingdom surrounded by a hostile mist seems up your alley, then please, inquire with a returned  missive . I cannot guarantee the appreciation of the people, for appreciation is hard when hope has been gone so long; but... from the point of your arrival, all morality becomes blurred by survival. May the Morninglord warm your skin. Recruiting for a Curse of Strahd campaign that has already kicked off, one of Wizard's of the Coast's attempts to produce a gothic horror campaign. I've room for one to two more souls to round out a party that's been playing for a month or so. We play at 6pm est weekly on Thursdays. As a DM, I believe in giving players time to have in character discussions, and encourage so. This campaign is not a hack and slash dungeon crawl, (though parts may involve elements of such) and is instead a sandbox, horror tinged adventure, mystery driven thriller; you will have room for character growth, as what doesn't kill you makes you stranger, yes? I reward encounters based on actions, not creatures slain, tend to root for my PC's to do well, even when things seem tough, and respond well to requests for topics to avoid or ways to make your sessions more enjoyable for yourself. After all, it is a game, and if there's anything that would take it from a fun, chilling, narrative to severely uncomfortable, that's something I want to avoid. Likewise, there is no penalty for joining us mid-campaign. The players, as well, are fun folk, all of them engaged in the story and keen on roleplaying- they toss the journal keeping amongst themselves from session to session, and in general try to share the stage. So, feel free to reach out and message me with questions, hit up my game listing, what have you. I do have a requirement that I know about new players the day before a session so I can set up an introduction, so keep that in mind if interested. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $13, per session, per person, to be made via Paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
