Hi guys, I have done some research and found similar case where apparently if the image/map is too big, the game/application will simply not launch I have submitted a ticket, hoping someone will be able to help without us losing any work but I have the following questions 1. Does this issue only happen when the loading page map is too big ? 2. If yes, would switching to this map after initial loading still cause an issue or that would work properly ?  Shouldn't there be a form of validation in Roll20 to prevent player from breaking their game ? ( size check or something like that ?

( size check or something like that ?  I'm not sure on your numbered questions, but can comment on this.  The problem with this is that the usable size is variable from player to player (in my experience).  So, if they did that, they would have to set the limit low enough that it wouldn't affect the person playing on an ancient computer on a poor internet connection. It will also be impacted by lighting, number of tokens with sight, number of dynamic lighting lines to render, if AFoW/Explorer Mode are active, etc. I have to keep all of my map images below 2MB (with plain legacy dynamic lighting, no AFoW) in any games with a specific player, because they won't load for him if they are larger, while everyone else will load larger maps just fine, so I think it is all on the quality of his internet service and possibly the age/configuration of his hardware.
Well I see what you mean but here I just don't see this issue being tied to my computer. My allowed bandwidth on my web browser is 32000MB. I simply think no one can open my game so when I suggested a validation I meant where literally its not supported
