Maps are blurry whenever I upload them into my campaign.

Hello everyone, this is my first time trying to run a campaign through Roll20 and I'm having trouble having with maps being unreadable whenever I try to expand it over the grid on each page of my campaign. I went through the tutorial and know how to upload images, shape/resize them, but whenever I try to make them larger they become very blurry. For reference I am trying to run the Icespire Peak campaign and I downloaded my images from DnD Beyond through my unlocked content. I believe the images are high resolution so I don't think that my problem lies there. Is there something I'm missing? I want the maps to cover the entire page so that I can use the grid to calculate distances the party is traveling and what not. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm getting discouraged but I really want to run my first ever campaign for my friends.  Thanks for reading
I'm a first time DM, with a group of 8 other people waiting on me to build our campaign and this is the "exact" thing I'm stuck on and even have this content on D&D beyond. I can't run scripts with API because I'm a free user and covid hit hard here with jobs and I'm trying to spend money sparingly. If you could invite me to a game, or if there's a way for us to chat and help each other figure this out please feel free to reach out to me.
What is the size and resolution of the map files that you have imported?
As Farling suggested, first thing to consider is the file size and resolution of the images. Right click the images and then Properties. Look at the dimensions, e.g., 1,500 x 1,500 or what have you. If the size is a lot bigger than this, it could be why the maps look blurry. Alternatively if you are trying to enlarge them within the game, that could be why. Open Paint and reduce the size of the images. Now try uploading them to your game. Upload a totally different map, and see if it's blurry.

Yeah, high res maps often start out blurry for me, then *eventually* (relative term) come into focus.
It happens to me as well. Made it impossible on Game Night to GM as I was not able to prepare the encounter. It started two or three weeks ago. Before that all maps were totally fine.
In my experience, I have generally found that maps no bigger than 2,000 X 2000 should work okay with a file size < 5MB. Any map > 5MB might be problematic. Images could work up to 4,000 X 4,000 (or even bigger) but I think it depends on how they were created; some are "optimised" for Roll20 in that they are very large in size and dimensions but appear quickly without trouble. I think it also has to do with how Roll20 receives/displays the image on the screen, some times it appears to actually lose quality, in that it looks good in Paint, but at 100% zoom in game it can be a tiny bit blurry. In these cases you need to reduce the file size (by simply making the image smaller) or try a different map. There are so many HQ and professional quality maps for RPGs that you can find freely on the Web covering a wide variety of themes, such that if one map doesn't work, try another one that fits the same purpose. TIP: when dealing with an exceptionally large image, such as 11,000 X 13,000 or whatever, you can still use it in Roll20! You just split the image up into 4 parts for example, uploading them as separate, individual maps in game. This takes a bit longer, but for HQ maps it's worth it for the quality of image.
