I draw a dots on my map layer and it become a line. The dot goes away.

Whenever I draw any color dot.. just a single dot of color - it become a line and is no longer a circle of color. Why is this happening?

Hi GM Miles, Are you specifically using the "freehand" tool to draw the dots?

A picture would help explain the undesired behavior.
yes, the freehand tool. I select the drawing tool, then select size, then select color and place a large dot of the map I have. Then when the page refreshes or I log in again to game again .. the dots have become lines . It doesn't matter with color I pick or which size I pick.  I will make a photo soon since the issue has not gone away  since yesterday.
here you can see what happened again today

Edit: Nevermind. Misread the issue.
It's like the blue dot gets turned sideways and you only see the profile of the diameter of the blue dot.
Are the asterisk icons also on the Map Layer? If they are on the Objects and Token Layer, they will cover up the dot.
no.. all the numbers and asterisks are the map I imported and not objects that can be selected . Only the blue dot is in that part of the map. I did this to test if something else could be effecting them. But the images I showed are on part of my map that has no other objects near the dots.
You could make the dots using the shape drawing tool (holding alt for circle) using the fill the same colour as the circle. You can then copy and paste them to make more.

yes, ..... there are work arounds. like using a shape tool... but still those are work arounds only. I should be able to draw a dot! The freehand tool makes a dot like a marker tool. There is no reason other then a programming error that would explain why a dot becomes a line. Having to draw a very tiny circle perfectly for each color & size...  wow... nope.... !!  It's a drawing tool...it should act like one and do what it shows and not change after you use it.

True, but if others are not able to replicate the issue, there may be something unique to your setup that could be interfering with this basic feature. Just throwing stuff out there GM Miles...  Maybe post your OS, Browser and version.  Any extensions or API scripts?
