Maps aren't loading in high resolution

Hi there, so since last tuesday i am experiencing some loading issues for roll20. I'm not sure what it is, or what could be related to this, but all of my maps don't load in high resolution. Sometimes after a while (last time it took like 1-2hours) they load properly. None of my friends are expieriencing this. I tried different browsers that don't have any adblock or something installed. Also tried chrome (by default browser) in incognito mode, which then hasn't any cookies, cache or extensions enabled. Has anyone the same issues? Is this a known issue? It's really rough for playing aswell as prepping my own sessions. Is there a way to troubleshoot those issues? Greetings Joscha
You could try hitting the browser refresh button (reload the page). Another thing to try if that doesn't work is to cut up your map into smaller maps, or not to have too many large maps in the game.

I hear you saying you tried Chrome Incognito which (doesn't use the cache? --- maybe?). Try Clearing your Cache (under Chrome settings). See if that helps on the 2nd-from-next-load. In other words repopulate your cache with a fresh copy, and after it has re-cached, the next load should/might be faster.
Yeah, things I've tried now: - Use incognito on chrome - Clear all my cache and cookies on chrome - Use edge browser All sadly seem to have the same results I mean the map i'm using is 1.77mb with 3000 x 2143 px, so really not that much.I really hate it, it literally takes like.... 10-20 minutes to load.

A possibility: does the page on which your map loads slowly have many other graphics? Lots and lots of tokens or set dressing images? It could be a prioritization issue, saving the largest for last so that the majority of graphics load more quickly. Just a thought. I will occasionally have a slow-loading map, but nothing consistent like what you're describing.

Does your game have: Lots of characters and character sheets under Journals? By lots, I mean 100+. If so, which game system / which char sheet? A large number of Journals with a Character Sheet that has a vast number of Fields (5e or Pathfinder), has been known to cause slow load, perhaps a glut of character fields loading in the background is slowing the load of the map? Does your game have Advanced Fog Of War turned on? That feature has also been causing extreme lag for some users, some situations.

I feel like a have a similar lag problem. It started last week tuesday (we play tuesdays so that's when i first noticed it) when the maps stopped being loaded in high-res (sometimes after 20-40min it loads). Funnily enough all tokens and object are loaded properly. The only other problem i found is the jukebox not playing the music for me (it randomly stops and starts again for me). My players in the game all tell me it works perfectly for them (even the music that i as dm start and can't hear myself). So it kinda has to be something on my end. I'm dming the roll20 rime of the frostmaiden module with minor adjustments so i doubt it is a token/character sheet problem. Also it worked fine with the same maps and set-up 2 weeks ago. I'm on firefox. I tried Edge and chrome and they have the same problem for me.
Yeah, it's the same on a single map without any tokens or lighting whatsoever. This happens aswell when im on the Recent Game  page. The images from marketplace content are loading painfully slowly, it feels like I'm back in the 2000s where the images first load pixelated and then clearup. So maybe this is an ISP / DNS problem?
We had the same problem last Tuesday (Dec 8th), not a large map and only 6 player tokens other than the map layer.  Just checked and it seems to be behaving ok now.
