At times it does not have the names displayed during the turn. Also, looked like I have go in and delete out the graphic first because when I use the MS Word function to remove all graphics at once, it also appeared to delete the names out but that may be because I only looked at the initial batch of turns which didn’t display a lot of the names.]   Opening Scene: Day 20 : June 21 st (first day of summer); 7:30 am     After Roqar, recovers from the blinding greenish light in the tower beacon, the adventurers go back down to the 2 nd floor and open it’s door onto a rooftop.   From this vantage point, the adventurers can see the shattered masts of the five shipwrecks west of the lighthouse. Enclosing the rooftop is a 1-foot-high stone wall with a 2-feet-high iron railing atop it. A similar railing circles the walkway of the lighthouse beacon, which is 20 feet above this area. A 10-foot-tall, wrought-iron lightning rod reaches toward the sky in the south end of this area! They do some searching here but nothing more is to be found. Xar’Tharkas, is up in the beacon room now, having a look around, first at the floor for a secret trap door but none is found. Then, it’s down to the altar room: The walls of this fifteen-foot-high room are adorned with frescoes that depict ships being tossed on stormy seas, with a dark and terrible god looming above them and smiling. Set into the west wall is a dirty, salt-encrusted window. A stone altar with lightning bolts carved into it stands against the south wall. A metal rod descends from the ceiling above the altar, splitting in two before it embeds itself into the stone. When Xar'Tharkas searches the altar, as soon as it is touched he feels an immense electrical tingling course through his body!, Others in the room see that tiny sparks crackle in his eyes! Xar’Tharkas, then goes back to the room where the three Anchorites of Talos, were to have a look at the other two bodies. Unlike their leader, Moesko, they did not have holes in their chest cavity. Though Xar’Tharkas, still slices them open with his glaive to see if anything is amiss, and nothing was, so he just cuts their hearts out anyways, and puts them inside his backpack. The body of Moesko, is cut up with hand axes. Meanwhile Farren, goes up to the beacon room to have a look around. He avoids looking directly at the blinking green light, Closing his eyes and turning away while then feeling his way towards it’s center, hoping his hands connect to something. At first it seems he walked right thru the middle of it when suddenly he bumps into something about 5 feet off the ground, Farren, tries to get a feel for it and is repulsed at first due to it’s fleshy and pulsing feeling! If it’s Moesko heart, It is very large for a half-orc  and would not have fit in his chest cavity. Farren, tries to get a grip hold on the pulsing object and tries to move it, but it was to no avail. Farren, tries to damage the fleshy object using his martial arts skills, punching away at it until suddenly it implodes, setting fire to the blanket now covering it, which then drops to the floor smoldering away! The pulsing light is no longer there! Meanwhile, after Xar’Tharkas, takes the pieces of Moesko’s body and tosses them into the sea with the idea that the sharks in the water will be attracted to the bloody pieces, as he then sends his Time Echo, into the water to have a look at, at least one of the shipwrecks. Xar’s Time Echo, sees that the ship he is searching in and around is named the Sea Urchin, a successful wisdom perception check, indicates he finds starfishes clinging to a chest. He takes a length of rope, ties it to himself, while at the surface to get some air as well, then dives back down to tie the other end to the chest. He then swims back to the cliff face and with a successful athletic check, managed to climb back up to the lighthouse, with the chest in tow, which he then pulls up the rest of the way. Xar’Tharkas pops up the locked chest with a crowbar and finds that is it filled with straw, which he moves aside and digs into to find a finely detailed, 9 inch tall blue quartz statuette of a nude mermaid. Another Anchorite is chopped up and used for shark chum and Xar’s Time Echo goes into the sea again to have a look at another shipwreck, this time it’s the Vain Glory and Golden Gull, but initially he could not find anything worth taking from the wrecks. As Xar’s Time Echo, swims to the 3 rd as yet unexplored ship, he sees it’s called the Orca when the three sharks, one of which is larger than the others, start swimming towards him, having finished off the chum. Xar’s Time Echo never heard of any of these sailing ships before. A 1d6 roll of 1 indicates he gets out of the water in time and an athletic check shows he successfully climbed back up the cliff side to the light house. Roqar, tells the party to go see the Banshee nowand give Miraal back her opalescent sea conch, which they do and they assure her that Moesko, his men and the harpies were dealt with and gone. Miraal thanks the party as this frees Miraal, from her bond to this plane. Miraal then fades away and disappears. They then go and talk to the friendly giant crab that befriended Miraal, whom gave it intelligence and a voice.  They inform her of the Anchorites of Talos and the harpies being dealt with and that Miraal was given her conch and was freed of her bonds to this plane.
The giant sea crab thanks the party and goes to retrieve treasure from one of the sunken ships for them, which turns out to be . She goes into the sea and retrieves a chest from the vessel named Orca. Roqar successfully picked open the chest lock with her thieves tools. This chest is also filled with straw and inside is a leather-bond book and a wand. Xar’Tharkas has a look at the book and could not understand the runic writing inside of it. Dolores then has a look and sees it is a spell book with the following spells inside: Blur, Charm Person, Comprehend Language, Hold person, Mage Armor, Sleep and Spider Climb. As for the wand Dolores would either need to use it or get the Identify spell cast upon it to find out what it does. She decides to aim it at Xar’s Time Echo, when suddenly she evisions a finch, raven, duck, chicken, goose, loon, turkey, seagull, owl and eagle. Dolores fixes on the seagull and the next thing to happen is that Xar’s Time echo is crying like one! Roqar, decides to brave the shark infested sea herself to check a wreck, diving in and swims to one named the Star Crossed Lover. A wisdom perception check indicates she was able to find a skeleton with a great sword in his grasp. She takes the sword and swims back to the cliff with sharks coming for her but she gets out of the water in time and successfully climbs back up the cliffside to the lighthouse. Farren, decides to check another shipwreck this time and climbs down from a window successful then jumps into the sea. The ship is the Vain Glory and a successful wisdom perception check indicates he finds a skeleton with a cloak upon it which looks in good condition in spite of the sea life growing upon it now. Farren, takes the cloak and a leg bone from the skeleton. A shark comes upon Farren now and a fight ensues!   Combat Round #01: Farren used a Ki point to use his Step of the Wind ability to take a disengage / dash action to double his distance from the shark on his turn, getting to the cliff but falling back in on an unsuccessful athletics check. The Shark takes a snap at him and missed. (With farrens speed doubled but at least halved in the water he moved ~ 30 ft whereas the shark’s movement is 40 ft in a round.) Combat Round #02! Farren, stabs the shark, (the large one the giant crab called Daggermaw), with his short sword for 13 piercing damage! The shark missed biting Farren! Combat Round #03! Farren, uses his Ki to use the Flurry of Blows attack and successfully strikes Daggermaw for 22 damage with his fists (unarmed strike)! The shark fails a dexterity saving throw with a difficulty level of 14 rolling a 7 and decides to push the shark away from him about 7 ft in the water. At this point Roqar decides to help Farren and tries to climb down quicker using her second-story work ability but an acrobatics check is failed indicating she falls 80 ft into the water taking 8d6 damage of 31! Her hit points is reduced to zero and she is unconscious! A roll of 3 on a 1d6 indicates that Roqar’s cannonball dive scares the shark off temporarily. Willie, then tries to climb down after Roqar and is successful in doing so. Farren pulls Roqar to the cliff as Willie is climbing down and stabilizes her and Willie used a cure wounds spell upon her, healing back 3 hit points, when he reaches her. Willie has Roqar flung over his shoulder as he makes his way back up the cliff successfully. At this point, the party decides to forgo looking at the last shipwreck for now in favor of heading north up the High Road to Neverwinter city on their way to get to Thundertree to visit the druid Reidoth.   And this ends the gaming session for the day, until next time!   It is now June  21 st (first day of summer) at 9:30 am.   The Adventurers’ Experience Points Earned This Session: None this session   ----------   Grand Total Experience Points:   Everyone is at 5,170.67 XP  Level 5 reached at 6,500 XP!   Loot Found: Star-Crossed Lover: Great sword Sea Urchin: 9-inch tall blue quartz mermaid statuette Vainglory: a cloak and a leg bone Orca: a wand that appears to make bird calls             Spellbook: Blur, Charm Person, Comprehend Language, Hold person, Mage Armor, Sleep and Spider Climb.   Number of Sessions for current Adventure Module: 48 th Session for “Lost Mines of Phandelver / Dragon of Icespire Peak” 12/05/2020 [1st Session start was 08/15/2019]
