Help with Dynamic Lighting

I'm having some trouble with Dynamic Lighting. I have a map of a courtyard, with a small building that should be hidden. I set a token that produces light that covers the entire map. I put the token in all the corners to make sure the whole map would be lit up. When I drag a character token to the map, the whole thing shows up like it should. The problem I am having is that the building I hid by drawing a shape around it is still showing up dim and not black. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. See the screenshot. Any help is appreciated.

This is the intended functionality for GMs; you can try 'reojoining as player' OR you can place a character that shouldn't be able to see it onto the map and then press ctrl+L with the token selected to see what they would see. It does this so you still see stuff since you don't need to hide things from yourself.
Sorry, I should have mentioned that I joined as a player to test it. That is where the screen shot came from. Also, pressing Ctrl-L when joined as a GM shows the same thing.

Do you have Explorer Mode (if UDL) or Advanced Fog of War (LDL) running on the page? It looks like it is showing regions that have already been explored by the token (likely prior to adding the DL lines). Note, If this is the case, then any tokens in the greyed out areas will not be seen (unless the player also has control of them), just the stuff on the map layer. If you reset the fog this grey area should go away.
Turning off Advanced Fog of War fixed it. Thanks for the help.
