NOOB parent/child LFG New players, family friendly

This may be a long shot but I'm looking for a group that can help new players learn the game and mechanics.  We have a book and have researched but never actually played.  I'm hoping to find a game for myself and my 12 yr old.  If other kids his age are included it would be ideal.  I know a lot of kids are feeling very isolated right now and I hope he can have the chance to play with others who have similar interests.   Any direction or help in getting started would be welcome and appreciated.  

Hi guys. I am a DM looking for a group to play with! The Campaign I'm working on is an offshoot of The Lost Mine of Phandelver. I'm trying to set it up like a podcast I've listened to, but hopefully a bit more family-friendly. Depending on how comfortable your child is with the prospect of dealing with the undead at certain points, this may be a good opportunity to work together.
