Players drawing things everywhere

I was wondering if you can turn off that option or disable the players. If you know how please explain
Disable the players. Seems a good idea. Shoot them if needed.
Fred, I don't think there's a way to lock players from drawing on the table top.  In all honesty, the best thing to do is tell them not to do it.  If they're persistent and keep up with the behavior, there should be some consequences (XP penalties, less treasure, remove some privileges their characters might have, anything that would get their attention really).  Otherwise, Patrick might have the right suggestion -- boot them from the game if they're really that disruptive.
I doodle all over my table, but stop when I'm asked to. I dont think a feature to disable player drawings is really needed, just tell them to stop. If they dont, boot them. They are probably not the kind of players you want in your game anyways :)

Unfortunately, no you cannot disable it. I would suggest the following options: Send the players to another 'doodle' map if they are bored. Make use of cleaning the entire art canvas for the token layer.  Threaten draconian measures if they do not behave.  Ultimately, if you want to kick a person out of the group while a game is in progress, go to the Campaign Details page, kick them. Then you and the other players can hit refresh in your game and the player will no longer be present. When the player requests to come back talk to them about playing nice. I have used this exactly once and the player got serious about behaving himself.  - Gauss
This could also be just the novelty of being able to do just that. If the Roll20 interface is all new to them, maybe just let them go nuts until the activity gets old. If they have time to draw maybe they are not being engaged enough in the campaign, move the pace along. If they are just being a disagreeable putz, consider everything they draw to be a magically conjured monster and attack them with it. You could create a whole adventure around this where the players have been transported into a magical painting they can interact with.  Their drawings come to life.
I usually draw all over the map, adding blood spots below fights, dropped weapons when dropped, arrows on walls when shots miss, etc. Most players and GMs don't mind it, a lot of them like it. But when I'm told to stop, I do. I don't think you need anything else than "please Laendri stop drawing, I can't move my secret deadly trap tokens well with those lines there".

My players REALLY had fun with it when they were all new to the system but have since mellowed out. I would let them have fun drawing on the maps or portraits or whatever (and join in too) and then when we all were finished I'd just hit the "Clear Drawings" tab on the map and, voila! everything was back to normal. I notice that players on the server first tend to doodle while waiting for everyone else to join, and again, I just clear the drawings before we play.
personally I find that the drawing tool is awesome, and would be disappointed if it could be disabled. an option, as GM, to clear all of ONE PLAYERS drawings would be nice though, I tend to use a LOT of little marks throughout a fight, indicating all sorts of things. (lines for spell durations, squares and circles for spell locations, and to represent when characters have done shit to mess up my maps (tipping over tables, busting down doors, and generally leaving messes behind)
Be careful with your Clear Drawings if you have Text Notes on the same layer, you will end up erasing some of them.
