Character Sheet random overwrite

Two times on Saturday I drug a creature from the MM on to the active map.  When I drug the token and dropped it, it never appeared on the map.  I drug it again waiting for it to update and appear on the map but it never did.  It was then I realized the character sheet info from said creature had overwritten a completely different character sheet I'd already had open. FYI, I didn't accidentally drop it on the open character sheet.  When I open NPC sheets I use the pop out feature and drag them to a second monitor so they weren't even on the same screen.  I've been doing this same thing in the same way for hundreds of hours. So I paused our session, restarted Roll20, rebuilt the overwritten sheet as it was important to the current encounter and moved on.  About an hour later the same thing happened again- this time overwriting a different NPC sheet I had open!  Is this a known issue?  Is there any way to recover the original information from the NPC sheets that were overwritten?  Any idea why this may have happened? Devs, can you fix this?

If you have a sheet open above the are where you're placing your token(and possibly even a popped character sheet), there is a risk Roll20 selects the NPC you're dragging from the compendium to overwrite the NPC it mistakenly selects. Highlights is shown on the sheet that the drop/overwrite is about to happen on at least in some instances. I think only a Rollback can revert the situation. If an NPC overwrites a PC sheet, most of the PC stats are kept intact and you can from the sheet's setting uncheck the "NPC sheet" checkbox, and the PC side of the sheet is again visible. There are other who know this better, and have better advice to avoid it in the future.
