Show as token action not working.

I'm having trouble with macros when building new NPC's for my upcoming session.   In my previous sessions, they worked flawlessly.  I cannot figure it out. Searching the forum, I found a number of similar (heck, identical) threads, and most if not all were the same problem.  That of the token not being selected AFTER creating the ability macros.  I've done the following: Created the NPC, all stats abilities, etc. Added abilities in the Attributes and Abilities tab and checked Show as Token Action. Added the token to the NPC using Edit (upper-right)  Made sure the correct token is selected. Clicked use selected token. Saved  Removed the token from the tabletop, and dragged it back out of the journal. Selected the token.  No token actions. For some reason, the token actions are simply not working.  Previous NPC and Monsters I've created work normally.   Selecting "Show in Macro Bar" works, but I don't want it showing up all the time.  The macros work if I click it from the character sheet. I've even left the game, and re-entered it, no difference.   Any idea what I'm missing here?   Eric the Grey

Open the token settings and make sure it is set to "Represent" the sheet that has the token action abilities.  If you do need to set the Represents to be correct, remember to edit the sheet, remove the old default token and save the current with the correct Represents setting.
Nail, meet head. That was it exactly.  I knew I was forgetting something, just couldn't figure it out.  Thanks Eric the Grey
