Zoom and image bug

December 23 (4 years ago)

So this is a colossal bug which I haven't experienced before until now.

I cannot zoom on any page in any of my games without the grid changing size and becoming ridiculous. On top of that, I cannot import any images to the page, whether I drag them in or upload them manually. This includes maps I've previously used in my game on previous pages, such as my DnD dungeon that the players went through on Thursday, but I can't even access that because I just get a blank page with a bugged grid. Same on all my games, any page, anywhere.

So, until this bug is fixed, I literally cannot use this website for any games.

I want to second this, and the issue started for me today aas well. For me, whenever I load into my game the current battle map that the view is on loads fine. I can zoom, pan, move tokens around etc. However as soon as I try to switch the DM view to any other map, it loads in ridiculously close-zoomed (300%?) and it's impossible to pan, zoom or really do anything on that map. Trying to switch to any other map after that does not work, and neither is it possible to load the first-shown map again.

As for solutions, I've deactivated every extension I have, refreshed the page, cleared the browser cache etc. None of this works and it seems to be the same on both Chrome and Firefox. A fix would be appreciated!

Does it seem you are experiencing this issue?

Nah it's a different issue. Although, it seems to be fixed for now on my end. I left the website for a while and came back and it worked, although I don't think there's a permanent fix so I'm expecting it will happen again. Might have been something wrong with the site itself if Philip R was experiencing it at the same time I was. I know Roll20 has a lot of bugs that have been around since forever and usually require a refresh or reset to fix and this might have been one, although it admittedly took multiple refreshes and a long wait for it to work again.
