Bad links? How can players see spells by class/level via in-game compendium?

December 28 (4 years ago)

Going to those compendium entries just displays all spells. This is useless to my players.

Given that I've paid money for this feature, how can I start getting refunded for this mess?

The best way is to click "Spells" and then the button to filter the results. The built-in links have never been reliable. If you are still interested in a refund, you should file a Help Center Request.

Cheers Keith, but I still can't see the way to do it by class - might just be me being thick, but I've tried several different approaches.

I am pretty much at the end of my tether now with Roll20, yes.

1. Click the "i"- Button to access your compendium.

2. Select "Spells" from the list.

3. Click "Filter Results" right under the search bar.

4. A window pops up where you can set your filters.

5. You get a list of spells matching your criteria.

6. Have fun.

Holy sh*t, this is awesome, thank you - I didn't realise that option was there as I was just using what came up when I had typed a search term.

Just me being thick then after all.
