Items disappear when moving from gm layer to map layer in Rime of the Frostmaiden module

Items disappear when moving from gm layer to map layer in Rime of the Frostmaiden module. It's happened twice now. Once on the map of the region.. I lost the name "Targos" and once on the Bryn Shander map, I lost the name "North Gate". In each case I had gone the the gm layer, right clicked the object, used the drop down menu to select map layer; The object disappears from every layer.

How do I get them back? Thank you and Happy New Year.

Edit: Just did a test on a new RotFM. I was able the recreate the problem on multiple objects. I did the test on Descent into Avernus and I was not able to recreate the problem.

Edit 2: I just tried to "rollback" to yesterday and the items still were gone. So much for back up.

One thing to try is looking for the items below the map graphic on the map layer - what sometimes happens is the z-order (front-to-back overlap) of an item that is visible on one layer is set all the way to the back because it was created earlier than other assets. So the map names may have all been loaded to the GM layer first in order of construction and then moved to their final x-y position once the map graphic on the map layer was set: this would mean they are "behind" the map layer in the "absolute" z-order of the page (the page has a single z-order list (what is there from front to back) and the layer can override some of this, but if all objects are moved to the same layer they all revert to this "absolute" z-order).

So, try moving the map graphic to the back (right-click menu), or move the map out of the way to see if the lost item is behind it, or set a GM layer to "move to front" and then move it to the map layer and see if any of those work.
