Deleting Unintentional chats by DM while building maps and characters?

I read a post that is closed for further comment with no real answer. My issue is that while learning how to make some NPC's, I accidentally posted their attacks to the chat. The option to clear chat log under settings only clears it for a short time. Once I reload the campaign it shows up again. Is there anyway to permanently delete chats that happened before the campaign even started? Thank you!
You can do this from the campaign page, where you have the "launch" button and access to your game forums.

You can also use the Copy Game feature and make another game and test things out there. If you are making NPCs, you can then use the Character Vault to move them from your Test Game to the Real Game. If you have a Pro account, you can use the Transmogrifier to move characters (and other things) between games.
Andrew answers your question directly, but while building NPCs and maps, I toggle the /talktomyself command so that when I accidently hit the attacks only I will see my mistakes (very important as I don't like clearing the chat logs after a campaign has begun). Many APIs don't work when you have /talktomyself activated, but as you are a Plus user, that is a nonissue. I also have a bunch of goblins on an old map that I use for testing things like APIs that don't work with the /talktomyself command is active. Between sessions, I might have a bunch of scimitar attacks in my chat, but my players don't question those anymore.

To all that have answered. Thank you for your replies! What ended up working was just clearing it from the settings tab (which is what was only working for a little bit), and then making sure I stayed logged in and did not further work. Once we started session one and we started chatting/rolling/etc enough chat showed up that it became a non issue. That being said, I will hit the link and support the deleting single lines. Again, thank you all!

Another option is to spam your chat with enough player-visible posts to move the unwanted text off the chat. Kind of like what you wound up doing, but ahead of time on purpose.
