Pathfinder 2e Character Sheet

Good afternoon, I feel like my google and youtube searches have come up fruitless. Is there a guide or a tutorial someone can reference that can better help me understand the formulas for entering spells? For example, is it possible for a spell to become automatically heightened as the characters level increases?

For example, is it possible for a spell to become automatically heightened as the characters level increases? The fields are mostly described in the help center ( Pathfinder Second Edition Official - Roll20 Wiki ).  When entering a spell the fields also have example text to show the syntax and demonstrate the capabilities of the sheet. You specific example is actually demonstrated with this example text for the "other" field of attack and damage rolls:  "(@{Level} * 2) + 3".  You can also access other sheet attributes with the same @{} syntax, and if you're of the name you can hover over the value on the character sheet with your mouse and it will be displayed, or they're also listed on the Abilities/Attributes tab.  This particular example shows that you can not only access the attributes but also do some math on the value. Entering other nonmagical attacks is very similar. I hope this helps, but if not let me know a little more about the spell you're trying to enter.  But in this case it seems like the sheet itself already provides an answer to your question.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond. The problem is that while yes, I see the formula, there is a disconnect in my understanding. So, if you would be open to it, I'd be more than happy to invite you to a discord and we could talk, I could share screen. But right now, it's like me coming to someone with a book and saying "I don't understand what they are saying to do." and that person saying. Read the book in response. I've tried entering the formula but I am doing something wrong and I assume maybe because I don't understand the language of the format...I don't know what I am doing wrong.
If you're talking about the focus spell or cantrip level as tracked next to the spell name in your list, there's no way to automate that number to increase as you level up. But if a focus spell or cantrip has a value that increases as it's heightened, such as chill touch 's damage, you can have that increase with two methods: Have it increase as the character levels up (whether you adjust the spell level or not) [[ceil(@{level}/2)]]d4 Have it calculate based on the spell's current level (you'll need to remember to increase the spells level when necessary) @{current_level}d4 The first option divides the character's level by 2 then rounds up and rolls that many d4. The second rolls a number of d4 equal to the spells current level (not to be mixed up with it's base level—the level it starts at—which is marked in the spell details). Hope that helps explain what's doable!

I'm definitely willing to meet you in Discord to work through this and provide some guidance.  That's assuming of course that Persephone hasn't already solved your issue (she's great!).  Followed up via PM.

The Roll20 Help Center is separate  from the Community Wiki , which you linked. The community wiki is better maintained by the community in some aspects, like info on the character sheets, while the Official help Center might be better for info on latest general Roll20 updates, such as the updated look of Token menu. I think both the Help Center and the Wiki article for PF2E are outdated and don't account for some of the later updates to the sheet like the unified spell grouping, and inventory updates. If you see mistakes, update the wiki version, so at least it contains some accurate info when the Help Center version doesn't. (Incidentally, I've written 95% of that very article in 2019, and know it's outdated because very few have touched it recently to any considerable degree)
Thank you! What does the ceil in the first example stand for? Does that text have to be included in all spells if I wanted to use that format? I appreciate your assistance! Ideally I want to learn the "why" behind why I do it so I am able to do more than just copy because someone told me to. This is exactly what I have been looking for Thank you!
