Count me in! I'll send Burglekutt (level 1 gnome wizard)  if he's available, otherwise it'll be Varis (level 2-3 wood elf fighter).
For availability reasons I'm going to swamp out my rogue for my level 3 Tiefling bard.
Room for two more in this one, since we've lost Gigi, Burglekutt, and Tannin.
Updated to reflect the change to Friday, January 29th.
Now that the date has changed my level 3 rogue can come out to play again. I'm pretty sure she can do this mission before the abonden castle
Furious is going to pass leadership of this quest to my new Level 1 Hill Dwarf Life Cleric, Solemn Bigheart since we look pretty DPS heavy at the moment. Please swap on the roster.
Tordak lvl 3 dwarf barbarian path of the totem will replace Skrit
If you cant find anyone else by the time this quest is up i can come on my Trollkin Barbarian, Lippy

If this missions date changes I'll have to bow out due to work.  If it stays as is and the Millars Daughter 3 mission doesn't go ahead I'll swap out my rogue for my level 2 Draconic Sorcerer Sabrina.
Hi all, would we be happy switching this game to Tuesday 2nd Feb at the same time so that we can switch this time to "Fizzbang 3"? My thought is that this looks like a great fun quest which can be visited at any time and with any characters while the Fizzbang rescue quest has a number of interested characters who might want to save (or mock) those who need it... Totally understand if people don't want to swap though, just floating it as an option Feel free to message me in discord about it if there's any issues or questiona Soap
With the change of date, Teres has had to drop out. Room for one more!
Indigo is in.
Forrest Avery said: Indigo is in. Indigo is in the group that visits in "the future" - so can't join this one unless they have amnesia...?
Forrest Avery said: Indigo is in. This is a good point. This quest is technically happening before  your visit due to you guys making a last minute change, so you'll need to bring Gruve or another character.
I'm confused by what you're saying. I know that this was scheduled before my group went last night, but in the campaign timeline we went to the dungeon first didn't we?  I thought in the context of the game when this group shows up you were saying to us that we would have already been there and cleared some of it that was why we had to get approval first, so we didn't step on their toes. I'm kind of lost here :P
I wouldn't even make a thing of it, but I really want to play Indigo. I have a version of Gruve in another campaing I'm playing, so less inclined to play him here. I could make a new character, but I was excited to send Indio back into the dungeon :(
If it matters. I could totally RP up a case of amnesia or even falling through a time portal. The character dose have planeswalker parents! How about we do that one!

I'm kind of lost here :P If you check the calendar, your quest (Woodsman's Tale) set out after  this one is scheduled to depart. Even though you went there first IRL, your party went there second in-game. For that reason, Indigo can't accompany this group out, just as they can't make use of the information you include in your writeups. It's a result of your group making a last minute decision to run a different mission, as this group had scheduled their MoD adventure weeks ago and your group went there on a whim.
Ah yes I saw that, but I thought becuase you were saying whatever we did in the dungeon would affect what they see, that we were basically changing the contextual timeframe. So when they go in, it will be a fresh dungeon then? Just clarifying for creating a new character. I don't want to use Gruve, I honestly think he's not a good fit for this server.

Yeah, this expedition will go in ahead of yours, so nothing you did will stand (nor will they kill the same kobolds you killed three days later). Happy for you to make a new character and bring 'em along!

Trioplex Lvl 1 Fallen Asamir Paladin. Falls out of portal in the middle of town face first into the mud. Brushes himself off, goes into the stufed pig, and signs up for the quest.
Tordak will be replaced on this by Borin - level 1 Hill Dwarf Life domain Cleric (maybe a little confused about his purpose...)
Sorry won't be able to make this game. Was trying to move my works hours for this day, but not able to.
Aragorn Redeyes Level 1 Human Warlock!
Borin's Crazed Scribbles I find myself standing in the street surrounded by unfamiliar companions heading into the wilderness and I only know this is dangerous. I was out there once, this much I do remember! So much death at “my” folly, I feel a gaping hole where I used to have … faith?… I cannae be sure… There’s something familiar about Solumn , like looking in a distorted mirror or something. He seems assured where I only have questions though… Shane ’s divine presence warms me somehow, I feel “safe” in his company. The thoughtful Lippy confuses me. Somewhere in the back of my mind sits an uncomfortable feeling around his kind and yet he seems a friendly (and capable) fellow! A similar feeling hangs for the goblin Plygonk - is there history between our races that eludes my mind? Maybe I’m distracted by the energetic halfling troublemakers? Trym and Elphim both seem full of vigour and confidence - I can’t shake the vision of another halfling in my mind when I look at them. A halfling with a pet almiraj? That can’t be right…what’s wrong with me?? Ambushed from the fog. I’m told that Scaleshrikes are dangerous foes and they certainly seemed that way at first before we mastered our confusion and rallied together. I say we but in truth, I added little. My instincts seem intact at least as I seemed to recall strange intonations but their power seemed much less effective than some of my new(?) companions as the halflings in particular carved these beasts apart.   Entering the “dungeon” triggers nothing but Trym seems to refer to me as Boris… is that my name? Why does “Borin” seem familiar to me? While I contemplate this, there is bedlam… Several of the party headed off down an underground tunnel revealed by Lippy falling down a hole, meanwhile Shane had fallen down an entirely different hole! As I went to help Shane, it seemed the impetuous Elphim and Plygonk apparently pushed on and opened a strange room with some sort of snake/statue guardian. I will confess that I don’t know much of what happened as I am relying on the details from those involved! While Shane and I hurried to catch up, there seems to have been some sort of minotaur attack that killed poor Plygonk . While I am sad at his death, my mind drifts towards the vision of a minotaur of “great fame”… but he is cloudy in my mind’s eye.   Regrouping, we are joined by the child Aragorn … Gods know where he came from but he seems a mixture of scared and over-confident. His sudden appearance and childlike stature conjure up immediate thoughts of a little girl… my mind is scrambled! Investigating the complex further, we find a secret door and a few kobold zombies to dispatch. They are simple enough to dispatch but their (somewhat) catlike movements evoke yet more clouded memories. A giant tiger springs into my thoughts before vanishing as quickly as Lippy ’s glove sticks to the door we find… poor fool somehow managed to then stick his boots to the same door trying to free his glove - before he just took off the glove… the same sticky substance seems to coat the floor so we set to work building a path out of rubble. There’s so much gold in the chest. It shines like the morning sun and my mind is assaulted as I look at it…   Lathander! The name springs into focus in my mind as Shane collapses under the weight of blows from a Flesh Reaver we uncovered behind the secret door. Healing magic from Solumn to get Shane back on his feet - it feels comforting to me and I have another vision of a bald dwarf firing devastating guiding bolts - I follow Solumn ’s action with my own healing for Shane . It feels so natural. The great tomb holds a ghast. It’s shadowy presence triggers memories of a one-eyed female warrior of exceptional bravery from a shadowy realm but the memory fades as swiftly as the party disposes of the ghast itself. Memories flicker but one thing is clearer… Ahm nae Boris… Ahm Borin and the light o’tha morning lord will heal these lands…
Meta!
Mouth of Doom: First Attempt Early in the morning, me and a group of other dungeon divers left the rinky dink town Hope to head South to the Mouth of Doom. I heard there was some pretty good treasure there, so I figured this might be a good way to stock up on coin. So in the group we had... 1. Potion Pony 2. Greeny boy 3. Angel Cakes 4. Sheep girl 5. Buttercup 6. Boris Anyway, we all head out, and I'm put in charge of making the map. Not sure if I'll share it with any of them but here it is: So on the way we get attacked by some giant birds. Sheep girl was pretty badass and slid under one to cut open its belly. One bit me pretty hard, but thankfully I got away and shot it with my bow. One of the dwarves healed me. Can't remember if it was Boring or Sunshine . They both look the same to me. Once we killed the birds, we kept going South till we hit the Mouth of Doom. We went down the steps and had a quick breather before we continued to find some treasure. Some people went to examine a door, and then fell in a pit trap. Those Noodlebrains should've asked me to check it for traps but no one did. As we were examining the door, another Meathead fell in a different door trap. Seriously? What's with these people? So Sheep Girl found this passage in the first pit, and she and Greeny Boy go off down the passage without the rest of us, so of course I followed. The passage was pretty tiny, which made it hard for the fatsos to keep up. The small passage led to a hallway with two doors. Sheep Girl opened the South door, and Greeny Boy followed. This woke up a GIANT STONE SNAKE that was immune to all regular weapons. WHAT? So Sheep Girl and Greeny Boy run out of the room WITHOUT CLOSING THE DOOR. Like, seriously where do you find these people? So I ran up and closed the door, wedging an iron spike in there so the snake couldn't get out. As I'm saying, "Hey people, let's go upstairs and try to find some easy treasure..." Sunshine goes and opens the OTHER door, which is full of skeletons and one giant minotaur skeleton. Things go pretty south, Sheep Girl gets stuck in there, so Greeny Boy runs in, MEANWHILE who knows where Boris and Angel Cakes are. I'm not quite sure what happened because I just told everyone to freakin' RUN but somehow Greeny Boy died. We went back up to the main room, and that's when someone told me about Greeny Boy . But I didn't really have any time to be sad about it, because there was this little Demon Kid who just popped out of nowhere. Like, seriously he popped right out of the sky. To be honest, the kid is super creepy. He's got red eyes, says he's from Neverwinter which is REALLY far from here, and there's something off about him. I don't trust him, but for some reason the others do. Even Sheep Girl gave him a hug. So we take a quick breather on the steps again, and then go around to check all the doors. All the doors have symbols above them. We spotted a pentacle, skull, wolf, goat, and hand. I found a spear trap near one of the doors on the left side of the stairs. Now, let's be real over here. I'm with this group of Dunderheads who go running off without half the group, and I didn't come all the way to Hope to just die. So I was trying to tell these bozos to actually check the door for traps so we don't... you know, DIE. But for some reason Sunshine is saying "why don't we just go through the door! This is taking too long!" Like suck it up buttercup, this is a freakin' dungeon. WE CHECK FOR TRAPS. So we decide to go through the North hallway that doesn't have any symbols above the door, and doesn't have traps either. We walk down a long hallway and into a room. On the East side Sheep girl spots a secret door. But I suggest we should check the room before we go through the door. The room is full of rubble and I pick up some pebbles and pocket sand for later. You never know when you need that stuff. So as we're exploring around the corner we get attacked by zombies. We kill them pretty easily, no big deal. But I spot a door to a smaller room inside the room. Noodle Brains then decides to put his hands RIGHT on the door and they stick there like super glue. Then he puts his FEET on the door. Like what a block head! I guess glasses don't mean you're a smarty pants. Anyway he needs to take off his boots and gloves and leaves them stuck to the door. So we open the door and the floor is sticky too. There's boots from some other poor meathead stuck in the floor and a dead skeleton guy who cut off his hand because that got stuck. Honestly... why didn't these people just not touch the floor? But in the middle of the room there's a BIG CHEST and I want it! So I came up with this great idea to use the rubble as stepping stones to get to the chest. Inside there was a TON of gold coins and one copper piece. Honestly, we got so many coins my backpack was super heavy. Sheep Girl took the copper piece but to be honest I kind of want it. I feel like it's lucky or something. Maybe I can steal it from her later... Nah, she's a rogue she'll probably notice. Next we go to check out the secret door, and we're attacked by these giant worms that can launch themselves through the air. Thankfully we killed them and no one died but it was a little touch-and-go at some points. Through the door we find a rich dude's coffin. Of course I'm thinking let's steal his stuff. He's dead so he doesn't need it anyway. So we open the coffin and the dead dude comes alive and starts trying to kill us. He also has this horrible smell! So I throw some oil on him so we can set him on fire, and I just keep pinging arrows until he dies. On him he had a fancy necklace that we sold for a FORTUNE. Seriously, it was one of the best scores of my life. After killing the dead guy we'd mostly had enough and decided to go back to Hope to sell our stuff. I've got another plan to go out in a few days. I think the demon kid is coming too, so if I get murdered in my sleep you all know who did it... just saying. - Trym
Hahaha - I feel official name changes might be in order!!
Solemn's Savage Frontier Journal No. 1 Well, that went well. OK, I might have gotten a bit ahead of myself there. I mean, I am 180 now... practically middle aged... but sometimes my boundless enthusiasm (what could possibly go wrong) gets the best of me. I arrived in the town of Hope(!) in the Savage Frontier quite recently. My goal: to serve the ideals of Lathander... to christen new enterprises and bless them with a can do spirit! I quickly joined up with a band of adventurers setting out to explore the "Mouth of Doom"... I mean, this was calling out for optimism, hope and initiative! But, yes, mistakes were made. The journey began well and ended well, there were just a few speed bumps (and a death) along the way.  About halfway to the MoD we encounter a group of Scaleshrikes... nasty beasties I tell you. I fell one with my warhammer with grim satisfaction... then I ate a bit of dirt for my trouble. No matter, the party was feeling glorious and we pushed on to our ultimate destination. Upon entering the Mouth of Doom we found ourselves surrounded by doors... and traps, and enthusiasm for doors and traps... I confess I think I added to the general feeling of chaos at some points early on. I like a good door as much as the next dwarf... but I think I will not open them anymore... someone needs to stay back and smell the daisies... that'll be me in the future, standing back, smelling daisies. In any case, the halflings ran on ahead, some of us tried to follow, others went another way... ah, independant thought, death and pandemics... FREEDOM!  Anyway, we found some Iron Cobras (avoid) and an undead Minotaur (also, not so good)... poor Plygonk died... we retreated..., we regrouped. We were joined by a creepy looking child with a good heart. I believed it would work out! We resolved to not split the party anymore, or delve deeper until we got our bearings. We slowed down and our patience (and optimism) was rewarded. Working together we went north and cleared out some mysteries and passageways. We dispatched some Kobold zombies, some Flesh Reavers and a Ghost. We dug up some rubble to coat a sticky path to a treasure chest that contained actual treasure! Elphim gracefully made her way over our constructed rubble bridge to somewhere and joy was had. Then we banished more monsters and found a really nice necklace.  All's well that ends well. Plygonk, your death was not in vain. Your blood has christened my new enterprise and I shall meditate on the slow path and never split the party again!
