I would like to suggest that roll20 notifies players when the DM of a game that they are in gets banned or deletes their account for any reason. I would also like to suggest the option of keeping the player-end of the game that they were in open for a while afterwards so that they can copy down the chat log, character sheets, notes, or any other little information so that if the players want to continue the GAME or their CHARACTER for any reason! Luckily the nature of the game I was in required us to back up a lot of information but information from our last few sessions were still lost, and some rolls that we did in the past I would have liked to look up are completely gone. This would be simple to implement if instead of deleting DM accounts immediately when they get banned, just lock them up from doing anything for a while, inform the players the DM got banned, and then delete it like a month later. Make it so that the players can access the stuff that they could have seen before the ban so that they can copy it down. Heck, make it so that the banned DM can even access his locked account and import his stuff off of roll20. You've got to give DMs that kind of special leeway on roll20, guys. If a moderator can throw away a DM's game willy-nilly, that's throwing away content that also belongs to players who perhaps did not break any rules as well. That's putting DM's in a situation where they can't trust that roll20 will save their campaign information and it would be necessary to back the stuff up extremely frequently. If they must do that, what is the point of roll20? People use this tool for the convenience. Anything inconvenient like the frequent deletion of entire campaigns will just make people turn to other platforms. And you don't want to do that, roll20 is admittingly a good tool for roleplaying. Make the extra effort to make things convenient for DMs especially, please. A happy DM= many players having fun A DM getting deleted = many players not finding a game Multiplying this situation either way will affect whether roll20 grows or declines. Make the smart choice, roll20 team :3
