What are we playing and when? Players’ choice, running Mondays with a start time at either 5 or 6pm AST, running for three hours. First session will be a oneshot with no fee..I can run a homebrew City of Mist game, where you play ordinary people with legendary powers in a comic book noir setting. Alternatively, I can run D&D. After the first session, there is the option for a campaign using either system. About Me Hi there. My name is Quinn, my pronouns are they/them. I’ve been GMing for 5+ years, with experience running D&D 5e and City of Mist, as well as a few other systems. I have run in-person game sessions for local youth programs, and used to run for promotional events at stores. As of last year I began offering my services online. For testimonials, see my profile. I love collaborative storytelling, it’s a really fun and rewarding experience. I’m always open to having players of all experience levels, be they complete beginners or veterans to the world of tabletop rpgs. Sessions will be run using Discord for audio. The Social Contract The expectation in joining this game is that we’re all here to have fun. Things that are certainly not fun: IRL racism, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic remarks, etc. Generally, discriminatory behaviours of any kind are not cool. Be respectful of one another, it doesn’t cost anything to be kind. Sometimes it can be difficult not to talk at the same time without the visual cues you get when seeing someone face to face, but we should all do our best to leave room for one another so everyone can engage in the game. It is important that players be patient with one another when it comes to navigating character sheets and roll20's interface, to maintain a welcoming environment for players new and old. If there is any particular type of content which is a hard ‘Nope’ for you, please feel free to pm me and let me know. If at any point something happening in game is too much for you, please speak up and let me know and we will narratively adjust our course. I don’t expect anything particularly bad for anyone to come up, but it’s good to have this covered just in case. For the first session, this game encourages tipping the Game Master at a rate of $5 CAD paid via Paypal. For all subsequent sessions, this game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 CAD per player, paid via Paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
