Unable to move tokens with iPad

I run several school groups with iPad users and it's ONLY my iPad users (and not even all of them). They can click a token. But they can't move a token. It automatically- even with stylus- swaps to pan movement only. Does anyone have a workaround? I'm having to do my own tech support and these kids are often unable to even pull up what version they have, so hopefully someone has something simple. Currently I move their tokens for them, which, while annoying, is working. It just really takes away from their experience.

On Windows tablets, the action to move is:  press, release, press again and hold, then drag the thing I'm holding.  (This is for general windows functions, not roll20 specifically.)

These are very definitely Apple iPads. I'll have them try it, though.
