[5e] [Online] [EST] [LGBT Friendly] Group of 4 Looking for a DM

We are a group of four (flexible in classes) looking for a DM. Pre-Written adventures and homebrew campaigns are completely fine as long as they are longer than a one-shot. If pre-written, the party does have a preference towards Waterdeep Dragon Heist, and Tales from the Yawning Portal but others are also absolutely fine If interested, please answer these questions: 1. What kind of campaign do you want to run 2. Are you okay using D&D Beyond and Discord for our sessions (yes, though I'm posting this to Roll20, our group members do not like using it) 3. What is your #1 pet peeve in D&D (player-wise) 4. How would you rate your patience 5. How long would sessions typically last 6. When are you free to DM
Hiya! 1.) I'm looking to run a homebrew campaign that's somewhat serious in nature with room to face character consequences for player's actions but not in a way that's meant to put people in unfair positions to kill off their characters. Also, even though the campaign would be overall serious I'm not above running gags and I'm not looking to make things grimdark. I'm flexible in what levels of characters I can work with but I like to start people somewhat lower off to leave room for growth in a campaign. 2.) I'm totally unfamiliar with it but I'm willing to learn it, from what I understand it largely operates on theater of the mind? I've run games in that way before so I don't think it will cause too many hiccups for us to use. I can dm you my discord if you're interested, or if you have a server setup for this already feel free to shoot me a link. 3.) My biggest pet peeve is when players don't treat each other or what I'm trying to do with respect. If people don't like the direction a game is going I want to hear about it rather than having people trying to just passively ruin other people's fun because they aren't having any. 4.) Out of ten? Probably like an 8 or a 9. I'm happy to take time to stop to explain mechanics if someone isn't familiar with them or if someone needs extra time to decide what to do on their turn but I will eventually snap if someone keeps trying to irritate everyone else. I'm assuming you're all already friends and I wouldn't need to worry about this though 5.) It can depend on how long people want to spend roleplaying versus participating in combats but generally about 4 hours, although sometimes things may run longer if everyone's schedule permits. I have a general upper limit of about 6 hours because I tend to do character voices and 6 hours of doing that can make things get pretty hoarse 6.) Friday and Saturday nights (starting ~7PM your time, I'm based in CST) work best for me but I can do shorter ~3 hour sessions on weekdays if that's what works best with everyone's schedules, although this is also a lot more likely to get interrupted Let me know if you've got any other questions :)
