Noobie looking to learn DnD!

Hi folx, Thanks for all the responses! I’m UK-based so would need to ideally join any campaign with UK players. Due to the nature of my job I’d be unable to join a lengthy regular campaign for now. Would need some help getting started (character creation, resources to read etc.) then would be keen to join any one-off games for practice :)
