[LFG][5E][D&D] Newbie looking to learn online

Game:  D&D 5e Group preferred:  Online  Experience:  New Location/Timezone:  North Carolina (EST) Availability: Most  Weekends with the possibility for some weeknights. Preferred role:  Player Age: 34 Game style:  I have never played before so I have no clue what I'm getting into besides watching some videos online. I have played around with creating a character but that's basically how far I have gotten. I have played many fantasy games, read some D&D based books so the setting should be no challenge, and, though I know its not the same, I have played Gloomhaven JOTL quite a bit.
