Yeah, it's unfortunately that the races and spells from the Elemental Evil Player Companion aren't implemented in the Compendium for Princes of the Apocalypse. But I think PotA was created before charactermancer/compendiums existed properly, Roll20 just haven't gone back and updated/upgraded the module to standards of later products. In the same veil it's a pity that Unearthed Arcana stuff wasn't added to the charactermancer/compendium either.

If there is Compendium support, the Compendium is mentioned on the Marketplace page for the product. If there is no mention of the Compendium, it is 99% likely there is no Compendium support (yet). For example, look at the Marketplace page for the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide ( https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/bundle/8663/sword-coast-adventurers-guide ), scroll down to the section named Accessing Your Content , and you will see there is Compendium support. If you look at the Marketplace page for Princes of the Apocalypse ( https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/96/princes-of-the-apocalypse ) there is no mention of the Compendium on the page. You can also post a question here in the forums about what is contained/supported in products before you buy. Someone with the product might even offer to launch a game with the product for you to join and take a look at.
But what books are in the compendium. Because it seems like they have no problem adding Tasha's. What's most bigger then cos and pota. I mean I would be happy if they let me add it in some where. That could transfer from different games. Or put in a homebrew option I am buying books cuz I don't want to spend the time and do it my self it's much faster to use the charactermancer and double check if stuff is right. The more and more time goes buy it makes be regret not just spending money on dnd beyond. I was like will I use roll 20 to play and in it more often only time I am using dndbyond is for spells.

It's usually based on the age of the product. Older ones do not have compendium integration (yet). Rabulais gives you the way to be certain, by checking their marketplace entry. Beyond that, the safest assumption to start with is that anything released in the last two years is more likely to have Compendium features than older stuff. And also, as Rabulias points out, you can always ask for a refund on items that do not meet your expectations.
