Looking to Test/Develop my custom D&D rule set based on 5e

Rules I'm basically breaking 5e, cutting out rules to replace them new new rules, but keeping it relatively simple and new-player friendly. This campaign is based on unlocking new technologies and character options, so you don't need to know everything about the rules to make your first character. I will make rules handouts which will have everything you need to know, and give you additional handouts as new mechanics are unlocked. In general this interpretation of D&D is a little less forgiving, in that the encounters are not scaled to your level, so it's up to you to figure out what is worth fighting. The pace of the adventure is such that short rests take one day, and long rests take two days (without combat). Downtime actions are a core feature of the rule set, and are the primary method by which advancement is determined. Each Downtime action takes approximately 1 year to complete, and is resolved fairly quickly. Lore The Basic premise is that you play as a member (or multiple members if multiple players) of a settlement which has been cut off from its founding empire, and as a result has regressed from medieval to tribal society. A great many problems exist which keep your settlement in a tribal technology level, but technological development is not limited to medieval. It's possible to develop steam-punk, semi-modern, or even post-modern technologies through research, contact with other races, and cleaver application of magic. Each faction has their own unique style of leveraging their racial abilities and technology to accomplish their goals. In the grand scheme of things there is a design to the universe and all of factions acting inside of it. What I am looking for Players (1 or 2) for testing my game by playing it. The rule set is new player friendly, and is designed to encourage creativity, and strategic thinking. The complexity of what you are capable of doing grows as you progress. There is no hand holding for development, but there are downtime-actions that you can do to ask questions for clues on what is possible, the rest is decided by the dice. I can host (once a week probably) on weekends or between 7-10 pm on week days. We will be using Roll20 for handouts, map, and character sheet tracking, and discord or something for video/audio. Teasers:  rune-crafting, jetpacks, laser weapons, master-crafting system, damage soak, expanded critical hits, spell invention/discovery, trains, ability score advancement outside of leveling up.
From what I've read, the rules seem interesting and fun. I've been playing a lot of straight forward, fight centered campaigns and would love a chance to do some creative problem solving
