Map lighting questions

Hello all, I am trying to figure out how to have the map blacked out for my character,  but allow them to "view" yet darkened...areas they've explored.

As you have a paid membership, you have access to Dynamic Lighting .  I'd suggest reading through the wiki that I linked to, and watching a few videos on YouTube to see about setting it up and which system (Legacy or Updated) you want to go with.

Hi, I know this is a weird place to ask, but could someone with the subscription help? DM from my last game said to save character in the vault, but to transfer it DM should have premium :(. Could anyone write to me, create for a bit a quick all access vault for just a bit, let me insert my character, than I will just screenshot all the features(I just was working a lot while making his biography) delete it and leave. I will just be really thankful, but I know that chances are low(no one wants to waste few minutes of his free time)...
