Ch. 53: More Goblins in Cragmaw Castle

Dungeon Master (GM): ok, let's get started.   Dungeon Master (GM): when the party gets back to Phadalin we can retire some characters and bring in the new ones. Daniel's character may have to be introduced in another location though, like simply bumping into him in the Neverwinter woods.   Daniel M.: np ty   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so adventurers what is the plan for the rest of Cragmaw castle?!   Elizabeth K.: I think we were going to interogate our captive first?   Roqar: We see if the lone Gob wants to talk and then explore it?   Daniel M.: im not a party killer lol   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Yegg the goblin that would be.   Daniel M.: i like neutral evil but work well with parts   Roqar: 12 | 14 INTIMIDATION  (1) Roqar   Daniel M.: party   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, well if you are interrogating him go right on ahead!   Daniel M.: ty again everyone   avery: Am I Included in this game?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Whats in the rest of this castle?"   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "What deal did your leader make with that drow?"   Yegg -CC07 the Goblin Says: "Nothing special, just more junk."   Roqar: (Avery You can take one of those currently outside)   avery: I made a character, may I use her?   Dungeon Master (GM): I mentioned Galdor for that Roqar not for this map Avery, but when the party returns to Phandalin   avery: okay   Daniel M.: im galdor now   Connor D.: Btw are you recovering Galdor's spellslots, GM? Or is that still a zero, limiting him to cantrips?   Dungeon Master (GM): Galdor only spent one spell slot to zap the goblin that ran out of the castle, though he may have been used for heals ok yea, he healed Dolores and Roqar so that's 3 slots that were used for the day   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "By more junk, You mean more Gobs like you? and what about the Drow?"   Yegg -CC07 the Goblin Says: "Ha! Funny lady!, What about the Drow? Oh, you must mean Vyerith? She was meeting with King Grol last I heard."   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "What was her business with Grol?"   Yegg -CC07 the Goblin Says: "Oh, Vyerith works for The Black Spider."   Daniel M.: our we in need of a short rest?   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "What is the Black Spider, and what are you goblins doing with it?"   Dungeon Master (GM): well you are in the midst of raiding a ruined castle, and the party had already tried once to do that when the castle dwellers pounced on them   When the Wizard: (I think Dolores is taking a short rest now. The rest of us want to explore in the hopes that everything just fled when we killed their leaders. The castle might be empty now, and if not we'd probably be ambushed in our sleep.)   Yegg -CC07 the Goblin Says: "I never met this Black Spider, so I can't tell you." Says: "King Grol worked with the Black Spider doing his bidding. We just follow orders."   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "Were the orders just to harass the village, or were y'all doing more for the Black Spider?"   Yegg -CC07 the Goblin Says: "We were to simply keep you busy so to speak and help keep anyone out of the Neverwinter forest that wasn't an ally."   Galdor: has this place been cleared of monsters?   Connor D.: Unknown.   Galdor: ty   Roqar: (Currently working on clearing it)   Dungeon Master (GM): the west half the castle has not yet been explored so the party doesn't know yet what else may await them.   When the Wizard: Anyone else have questions for this goblin, or are we done with him?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Anyone else have any questions for Yegg here?  pulls out her shortsword "   Galdor: not sure but he may be useful still he could help us explore the rest of this place   Roqar: (I'm against trying to use him as any kind of shield as he may escape either kill him or keep talking) (I can see that Who wants to drag/ carry him?   Dungeon Master (GM): you mean When the lizardman?   Roqar: No Yegg   Dungeon Master (GM): oh you just want someone to carry him anyone up for that?   Roqar: Yes I'm not for trying to put him on a leash or something carry him tied up or kill him   avery: Can we cut off his limbs and carry him around   Galdor: his legs work fine lets tie a rope around his neck not much slack
Dungeon Master (GM): ha ha! you can do that galdor   avery: he wont be as heavy or threatening if we just cut of his limbs   Galdor: he will blleed out   avery: We can cauterize the wound with magic   Dungeon Master (GM): yea a heal spell to indicate you do that   Galdor: sounds evil   When the Wizard: He was part of the attack that killed Willie. Why would we let him live?   avery: Not really, at least he cant run away or harm us, and we can still use him as a guide   Galdor: k then eye for a eye   Roqar: I'm not for torture or leashing him if we dont have a use for him Kill him or carry him around   Buddy D.: im juan denero the spanish johnny cash   Roqar: On a leash He could escape Keep him tied up   Galdor: gag him as well   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so looks like Yegg is tied up and gagged. How do you tie him up then? Is he able to at least walk?   avery: tie up his hands and make his feet tied so he can still walk but cant run point a knife at his neck for good measure   Roqar: No Hes not able to walk or talk We carry or drag him Roqar would be dragging someone stronger carry   Galdor: i suggest arms behind his back and around his neck so we can pull him as we need to   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, would Roqar be willing to carry the goblin if she doesn't what him even able to just walk?   Roqar: Sure   Galdor: k np   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, with the rest of you that Yegg is immobilized and carried by Roqar?   When the Wizard: yep   Dungeon Master (GM): alright then, consider that done   Galdor: is it dark in here or lit up   Roqar: (Just to be clear if he tries to escape I'm killing him and once we are done here I'm killing him)   Galdor: fair enough i will help with that   When the Wizard: (Agreed that Yegg will eventually be killed)   Dungeon Master (GM): it's daylight outside so you have had that filtering in almost every room but the room the two Gricks jumped down on the party...The room with the ledge of Angelic statues with the two curtained doorways on the north wall.   Connor D.: Um, why is Dolores being moved?   avery: sorry that was me   Dungeon Master (GM):  the darkened room is being pinged   Connor D.: Yeah no that one's mine, thank.   avery: I was picking a character from outside   Connor D.: That one is also mine, but for the future lol. Marcuria, I mean   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, looks like Roqar headed for the dark room that brazier is unlit by the way but it has coal in it.   Galdor: can u move me to follow   avery: me too   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "Roqar, can you light a fire there?"   Connor D.: Stop.   Galdor: ty   avery: then who do i use   Connor D.: Good question.   When the Wizard: Farren isn't here, right? Could use him   Connor D.: Yeah Bahrren Drake is absent this week, so Farren perhaps.   Dungeon Master (GM): how about sildar, I will let you run him, he is Gundren's business associate and friend   When the Wizard: Oh, or is Buddy using Farren since Willie is dead?   Buddy D.: i can   Dungeon Master (GM): alright avery see if you can move Sildar   Connor D.: Is Sildar supposed to only have 1 HP?   Dungeon Master (GM): no, he should be full health   Roqar: DM Does the coal or Brazier look normal?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes   Roqar: Roqar will light the coal   Dungeon Master (GM): ok using her tinder box the coal is lit after a few minutes it begins to provide some warm light   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Left or right?"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you have the two curtains over entrances to the north and a door to the west   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "Right."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so the right side curtain   Roqar: Curtain look normal?
Dungeon Master (GM): let me post the original description for the room you are in now This high, narrow hall looks as if it might have been part of a chapel or shrine at one time. Angelic figures are sculpted along the room’s upper reaches, looking down on the floor below. To the north, heavy curtains block a matching pair of archways. Between the archways is a cracked but ornately carved stone brazier.   Roqar: 7 | 20 PERCEPTION  (1) Roqar No traps found   Dungeon Master (GM): yea   When the Wizard: 13 | 7 PERCEPTION  (2) When the Wizard   Dungeon Master (GM): was when looking for a trap as well?   When the Wizard: Yeah   Dungeon Master (GM): ok none was found   When the Wizard: pulls back curtain   Roqar: Open the curtain   Dungeon Master (GM): This chamber occupies the northern tower of the castle. A stone altar stands in the middle of the room, covered with bloodstained black cloth. Golden ritual implements—a chalice, a knife, and a censer—are carefully arranged on top of the altar. Two archways to the south are covered with heavy curtains.   Galdor: any religous symbols   Dungeon Master (GM): ok well on the bloodstained cloth you recognize that some of the images are those of the ones seen on the ledges in the room to the south the chalice, knife and censer also seem to match the decor here and may be of some worth   Galdor: i suggest we take the dagger so they may not use it   Dungeon Master (GM): alright   Roqar: 24 | 9 SLEIGHT OF HAND  (4) Roqar   7 | 21 SLEIGHT OF HAND  (4) Roqar   Dungeon Master (GM): ok what was Roqar trying to do?   Roqar: Swipe the chalice and censur   Connor D.: ngl I suspect some of that stuff may be cursed but sure.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, you possess those now as well   Galdor: does any one have detect magic   Roqar: Without the Cleric noticing thats why the rolls   Dungeon Master (GM): ok where to next adventurers?   Roqar: West door?   When the Wizard: 17 | 8 PERCEPTION  (2) When the Wizard Anything suspicious about this door?   Galdor: one door at a time   Dungeon Master (GM): no trap was found   When the Wizard: Opening   Galdor: do u havemage hand   When the Wizard: No   Dungeon Master (GM): you see a lone goblin in the room!   When the Wizard: Does it look ready to fight?   Dungeon Master (GM): Old casks of salted meat and sacks of rotting grain fill this storage area. Among the supplies, you see a bloody suit of chain mail, a heavy crossbow, and an unsheathed longsword with the emblem of Neverwinter worked into its hilt. Yes, he is in a defensive posture and ready to strike. Seems like he knew you were coming. what does the party do now?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Surrender and live or die fighting?"   Goblin #02 -CC07 Says: "Eh, Don't have much choice anyways, as the other option is being food for the Black Spider's pets. So bring it on, if you will!"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "What kind of pets?"   Goblin #02 -CC07 Says: "Rumor has it they are spiders." anything more to say? if now, do you start a fight?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hm, So either we kill you or the Black Spider does?"   Dungeon Master (GM): he has two visible doors he could run through, to the west and south   Goblin #02 -CC07 Says: "Yea, seems about right. Lovely is it not?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Chuckles "I'm tempted to let you live, for awhile"   Goblin #02 -CC07 Says: "how generous of you to be so kind lady."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Not this one tho"   Goblin #02 -CC07 He looks at Yegg.
Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Will you let us pass by you?"   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "Can you escape from the Black Spider if you go far away? We don't really care about killing you if you get away from the village."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Yeah, He helped kill a friend of ours, you didn't, so"   Goblin #02 -CC07 Says: "So yea, I see Yegg is all tied up at the moment." Says: "I doubt even the Anchorites would like it if we simply up and ran off."   When the Wizard: (Who are the Anchorites?)   Dungeon Master (GM): they are worshippers of Talos   Roqar: (Humanoids religous cult of Half Orcs)   Roqar: (Been meeting them for awhile   Galdor: i take it they are not friendly   Goblin #02 -CC07 Says: "Look, I don't like the idea of Maglubiyet and Talos, wrath also upon us, if we do not fight here."   Roqar: No not very friendly   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "What do you say, When? Fight him anyways just to get by him?"   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "Sounds like he needs to earn an honorable death."   Galdor: i agree   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Slam the door and go around?"   When the Wizard: Slams the door shut   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Connor D.: ba dum tsh   Dungeon Master (GM): so now your next course of action will be?   Roqar: Lower West door 14 | 13 Thieves' Tools  (2+0+4) Roqar Any traps?   Dungeon Master (GM): no trap is to be found   Roqar: Open the door   Galdor: can u move me to ty   Dungeon Master (GM): you see 2 goblins one is standing in front of what looks like 2 huge ruined doors that lead outside   Buddy D.: can we stick them with a arrow   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so 3 goblins you see and they see you with weapons ready   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Ya know, I'm thinking lets leave them to this Black Spider"   Buddy D.: ok   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "want me to back away?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Yes, Let this Black Spider deal with them"   Dungeon Master (GM): so you close the door on them again?   Roqar: Yep   Connor D.: Okay so this D&D session is Looney Tunes, then lol.   Roqar: Its odd but Roqar is just thiking Why take the risk? maybe Dolores got to me, Lets let this dark leader kill them   Dungeon Master (GM): [Merry-Go-Round Broke Down Theme song plays, (From Looney Tunes opening)]   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "I agree with you roq"   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "I think we killed all of their leaders in that large battle, so hopefully that will stop them from being a threat to the village."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so then where does the party go now?   Galdor: and what of our prisoner   Roqar: I'm for heading to Neverwinter? I think its closer then Phandalin? Yegg is gonna die For Willie   Dungeon Master (GM): actually i think Phandalin may be closer? want to check the world map?   Roqar: Sure   Galdor: do u guys ever play with sound?   Connor D.: No, don't want to deal with that stuff, since I don't live alone.   Galdor: np ty   Buddy D.: i cant because I am at work lol suppose to be working lol hahah   Galdor: where are we on the map me too lol   When the Wizard: Looks like Phandalin is a lot closer   Connor D.: Phandalin would indeed be a shorter trip yes. 30 miles to phandalin, 43 miles to Neverwinter.   Roqar: Maybe we will get to Neverwinter on another trip
Galdor: i will go were the party goes   Buddy D.: lead the roq   Dungeon Master (GM): just a note that the locations from the other module are not on this map   Buddy D.: lead th way roq   Dungeon Master (GM): but I did put locations from this map in the other module's map   Galdor: never split the party lol   Connor D.: ^ If Neverwinter means retiring characters tho, should probably try for that anyways?   Roqar: So Kill Yegg Head to Phandalin Dolores and anyone else retires   When the Wizard: I thought we were going to retire characters in any town   Connor D.: Ah okay. I wouldn't know these things.   Dungeon Master (GM): either town that can be down in but Phandalin is primarily your base town   Connor D.: Iirc tho there is still gonna be a lot of danger encounters on the way if Cragmaw is not emptied out tho, right? I recall that from the end of last session.   Roqar: The castle is pretty much empty now   Dungeon Master (GM): there is the paladin's manor also north of Cagmaw and you have Falcon's Hunter's lodge to the north east that lodge has been over run by the anchorites of Talos and this huge elephant sized boar you can flip a coin on it I recommend Phandalin due to it having a map   Connor D.: DM? Is the castle actually cleared enough that the forests are less dangerous, or...   Roqar: We should take care of the Ancorites   Buddy D.: I agree   Dungeon Master (GM): I can’t really tell you if the castle is cleared out enough to not be a threat. Yea the Anchorites and the splintered remains of the Many Arrows tribe orcs still roam about and raid You know those orcs were driven from their home in the sword mountains to the south east, by a white dragon and in Thundertree you know that a green dragon resides there   Roqar: Take care of the Anchorites then go dragon hunting   Dungeon Master (GM): after you stop in town first?   Roqar: Yes   Buddy D.: yes   Galdor: town first   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Connor D.: Dungeon Master, question was not answered. Am I to just presume the forests are safe now?   Dungeon Master (GM): so let's see i will do just 2 wandering monster checks here so basically every two hexs   Buddy D.: no   Dungeon Master (GM): 2 4   Connor D.: Yeah that is what I figured.   Buddy D.: they roll to see if we get attacked   Dungeon Master (GM): ok you make it back to phandalin with your goblin prisoner   Connor D.: ....Erm, wait so what about Dolores and Gundren   Roqar: I killed Yegg before we left the castle   Dungeon Master (GM): alright then, he's dead   Roqar: Does Gundren need to go to Neverwinter?   Dungeon Master (GM): i need to go into the castle map an copy past your tokens into phandalin   Connor D.: I guess we just are saying that when they left, Dolores went along and took Gundren alongside?   When the Wizard: Yeah, we wouldn't have left y'all.   Connor D.: Waiting for confirmation from DM but ok, sounds reasonable.   Roqar: Everyone left the castle together I see half the map   Dungeon Master (GM): can everyone see the map? I believe some of it may still be in fog   Connor D.: I can see a goodly portion of the map.   When the Wizard: Yeah   Roqar: Roqar offers everyone a nice hot bath in her cast iron tub hehe at her farmhouse   Dungeon Master (GM): i revealed Roqar's house just now   Buddy D.: oh the tub i forgot about that hes got a bathtub   Roqar: with claw ball feet   Connor D.: how ornate.~ egh anyways guess it's time to give Dolores her send-off then?   Roqar: The guys were kind enough to haul it for me then I needed a place to put it   Dungeon Master (GM): yes let's say you are all inside the stonehill tavern and this is where we meet the newcomers and say goodbye to the ones retiring from adventuring   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hey Dol Your gonna watch my place right?"   Wizard the Lizardfolk Sorcerer Says: "Well, it's been interesting going on this adventure, but I think I'd rather return to academia. Though, I do have a promising young student who could use some real world experience. Perhaps Dia could join the group?"   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Of course, Roqar. Promise is a promise. I guess this is gonna be it, then. Just make sure to come visit if all of this blows over with you still alive, yeah?"   Reidoth the Druid Says: "Well folks, I am going to return to Thundertree if you no longer require my guidance. Any word I should pass along to Falcon as he keeps watch over his raided hunting lodge?"
Dolores the Human Wizard gave a slight nod, managing to put on a little smile.   When the Wizard: (No clue what's in this town, but When's character sheet says he's very protective of his students, so there must be somewhere here that wizards learn.)   Gundren the Dwarf Says: "We need to go to the mines here on my map and we need to be very cautious of this Black Spider."   Juan the Human Cleric Says: "HOW ARE YALL DOING"   Sildar Hallwinter the Fighter Says: "Yes, we need to see what is going on there and maybe find your brothers Gundren."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Tell Falcon, We are going to try to clear out his lodge for him, Dolores, You can go ahead and get more furnishings for it, to everyone else, hey, Its been fun, but I still have that bug to keep going"   Dolores the Human Wizard Says: "Of course, I understand. You still have that adventurous spirit. It's just...not really for me, you know. Take care, everyone. The world's a danger outside of towns like these."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Nice to meet you, good Sir, Care to go adventuring?"   Dolores the Human Wizard Gives a final parting wave, before departing for Roqar's house, leaving the group behind.   Connor D.: Aaaand that's it for Dolores. Can I introduce Marcy now, or...   Dia Xiloscient: DM, can I get a token for Dia?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes you can introduce her   Galdor: what level should i make Rolo?     Marcuria the Human Barbarian Stands near the doorway of the inn. Eventually, she raised her head and looked over at Roqar and the others, approaching them.   Says: "You're those adventurers, right? Just came back from Cragmaw Castle?"   Dungeon Master (GM): 4th level with 5704 XP   Juan the Human Cleric Says: "howdy yall I am Jaun a cleric" Says: "do yall need a healer"   Juan the Human Cleric Says: "warpriest"   Galdor: point buy for stats   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, just so you know what your options are at this point:   Galdor: hp averge   Dungeon Master (GM): 1) go to the mines 2) go to thunderree deal with cult and green dragon   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Hey , Juan, Yes we do, and yes were the adventuring party, Care to join our party?  Gives an admiring look over Marcuria "   Dungeon Master (GM): 3) go to the paladin's manor (it's cold there)   Juan the Human Cleric Says: "sure roqar"   Dungeon Master (GM): 4) go meet back up with Falcon and re-take the hunters Lodge (Link back into the Dragon of Icespire Peak Module)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "That's why i'm approaching you. A contact of mine wants to pawn me off to you guys. Somebody wants you all to succeed very badly. Badly enough to pay quite a lot of money for me to lend a hand until the job's done. You need a bruiser, a front-liner, somebody to watch you in a fight, i'm yours."   Roqar: Hm, Retake the Lodge, from there go to the Paladins manor then the mines?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, that's why i mentioned the lodge is in the next module, everything else is access in this module we are in right now. opps aside of the Paladin's manor that is also in the Icespire module come to think of it so really just two options left for this module.   Juan the Human Cleric Says: "I am up for anything amigo"   Roqar: I liked that lodge and Hunter so we have to get it back and maybe with this crew we can figure out how to put the Paly to rest   Galdor: what time do you play to and when you play agiain?   Connor D.: EST 10 AM - 2 PM Saturdays.   Dungeon Master (GM): it usually ends around 1 but can go to 2pm on occasion, depending   Roqar: We try to play every Saturday   Galdor: ty   Roqar: Except for major Holidays   Galdor: hope i can stay with u guys   Dungeon Master (GM): with doing thundertree and the mines you guys can finish this module and we won't need really to come back to it as anything going forward would be from Icespire which includes 3 add-on adventures   Connor D.: Fine by me.   Roqar: Ah ok, We can do that then   Galdor: im making Rolo now   Buddy D.: i can still play   Galdor: i can too   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so does the party feel like facing a dragon now or exploring the mines?   Connor D.: mines exploration is my vote.   Roqar: Sounds good the Mines first
Dia Xiloscient: Mining for XP before dragon sounds like a good idea   Dungeon Master (GM): ok yea, you should definitely reach 5th level in the mine   Galdor: mines first   Connor D.: level 5 for marcy is 2 attacks, so hell yes.   Galdor: i need a tken dor Rolo   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, do you have particular image in mind you want to use for rolo?   Galdor: drow elf wizard   Dungeon Master (GM): ok a couple wander monster checks on the way to the mine:  5   1   Galdor: ty   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, just a few miles out from the mine we have an encounter, we should bring Rolo in here as well can you link me to an image for rolo or do you want me to find one?   Rolo: u can ty   Roqar: BRB   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, your token ready ok I am going to place you all on a forest map for the wandering endcounter   Rolo: ty   Roqar: back   Dungeon Master (GM): now to see what the encounter is 7   Roqar: Who is playing the beautiful music about roses and Maidens?   Dungeon Master (GM): oh ha!   Dia Xiloscient: Did everyone long rest in town? I think a few recurring character could use some HP   Connor D.: lol GM plz. also yeah HP restore would make sense honestly.   Dungeon Master (GM): I used this map for going through the neverwinter woods to see Agatha the banshee and she was singing the tune   Connor D.: WHY IS SILDAR NEARLY DEAD AGAIN   Rolo: my character is not ready wth spells   Dungeon Master (GM): yes everyone is at full health and have all spells   Rolo: k   Dungeon Master (GM): it's an old english tune used for the old "Friendly Giant" tv show ok looks like we have a hungry ogre here   Dia Xiloscient: (That song is also in the late seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Eyes forward, everyone. Trouble. I'll take point, the rest of you be ready."   Ogre Says: "Well now, what have we here? Where do you folks think you are going?"   Yes that show as well, it makes some vampire dude go nuts or something   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "We're heading for the mines. That a problem, ogre?"   Ogre Says: "Figures with a dwarf with you, you would be digging holes in the ground or looking for them."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "What can I say? It's a noble pasttime."   Ogre Says: "Say you there dwarf, the Black Spider could use your skills. Would you like to help him with something?"   Buddy D.: ?   Gundren the Dwarf Says: "Eh, no thanks, I have had enough of dealing with anyone associated with this black spider of yours. The mine belongs to the dwarves."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Maybe we should try to meet the Black Spider"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "I don't trust this, Roqar. Sounds like trickery to me. I've heard stories of the Black Spider. They're either not real at all, or they're not exactly the kind of person you should get caught up with."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Shrugs  "Heard of them not long ago, seems pretty wide spread to me"   Ogre Says: "Well now, will you help the Black Spider or am I going to have to clobber you all?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Bare with me for a bit? Lets offer to help him"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Telling you right now, Roqar, this is a trick."   Reluctantly faced the ogre.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "In that case, guess its clobbering time"   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "What does the Black Spider want help with?"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...But fine. What KIND of help are we talking about here?"                                                                                      Connor D.: gah no, hang on. we're getting conflicting dialogues.   Ogre Says: "He needs help looking for something is all I know."
Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....And this..Black Spider. Where is he?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Can you take us to him?"   Ogre Says: "None of your business where the Black Spider is. "   Connor D.: Gonna try for an intimidation.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Slammed her gauntlets together, glaring angrily.   Says: "You must really think we're stupid.
