There is political upheaval in Clan Soldarak, with the loss of my father, there may be challenges to the leadership, aside from the eldest inheriting the throne. There may even be those that put form my name in the leadership run. This might be the opportunity needed to turn the family right, and keep the Clan on the path of light. Lady Miera ir'Talen of the Blackened Book, of the sharn watch, has called to speak with us. There appears to be some sort of incursion, from what we suspect is the Daelkyr, based on finding a Daelkyr Whip. Upon investigating our very own portal, we found that it appears to have been co-opted by unknown forces. I suspect the portal is connected to Xoriat, based on the finding of incredibly powerful psychic rats. We are not sure if they were created in Sharn, or if they are from Xoriat. Upon our return to Butterball's place, we were ambushed by Rakshasa, probably in retribution for other problems we caused regarding the doom vault. Unfortunately, the attack was the last straw, we've been kicked out of the vault. Luckily, a certain Aurum palace has come on the market, for a great price too.
At this point, we might have no choice but to go through the portal, to the Realm of Xoriat, and do what we can to close the portal.
