Issue when dragging and dropping monsters from in-app compendium

Hi all, I recently purchased some new books/modules and added that to an existing campaign. I'm encountering an issue (likely an error) when I drop monsters from the in-app compendium tab onto the map. The first monster I grab will drop, but then a weird tab tries to pop open (top left in the first panel). It appears like the monster information sheet is trying to pop up on the map, but unsuccessfully. The isssue/error is, the left side tab is not something I can move, interact with, minimize, or exit. I can only fix this by disconnecting or refreshing the whole map, which is slowing down my session. When I click the monster information in the compendium (right side) it expands both in the menu and on the map (left side). It's always in the same position. But again, I cannot minimize or close it at all. And it starts to swamp my screen and DM tools. Furthermore, I cannot drag-and-drop any new monsters onto the map. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just saw this reported but can't find it now. The user solved it, though. Try turning off extensions or using a different browser. IIRC, it was an extension, though.

Thanks @keithcurtis. The problem still persists with all extensions off and a new browser. In fact, when I had both browsers open and drag-and-drop the little pop up sheet will show up on both browsers simultaneously. The left side panel is Edge, and the right side is Chrome. Extensions are off. When the error occurs, it's always on the 2nd creature that is dragged and dropped. When I drop the monster, the monster information sheet pops open, and when I close the sheet the named text box pops up on the top left corner. The issue is: I can no longer drag and drop anything from the in-app compendium and I cannot close or interact with that top left pop up. My next thing will be to try this in a new campaign, as perhaps I have some default roll20 settings on in my current campaign that is in conflict with the compendium? The campaign is ~2 years old, whereas I've only recently bought the extra modules and upgraded my subscription, so there may be some archaic settings on.

Okay, quick follow up. I've tried this in a new campaign and there is no issue. So I suspect it is either a weird error based on my current campaigns settings (unsure exactly what it could be just yet), or a problem introduced when I imported/added the new compendium and things (some of which used the roll20 transmogrifier).

Okay, I think I found where the issue occurs. I think it was primarily on the "Use window popouts for character" in the My Setting tab within the game. My current campaign had that box checked, but the new campaign had it unchecked. I went ahead and unchecked it, and now I can drag and drop tokens without the issue occurring (see below).
