Brand spank'n new and looking to learn how to play D&D

Hello wizards! It's time for me to stop just watching YouTube videos of D&D games and start learning, and start playing. I've never played a game with others. I've read through the D&D Starter set and watched enough videos to get the basic concepts. If there are any groups for newbs like me, I'm interested and ready to get started. If there are any other beginners like me, let's get together and ask one of these awesome experienced DMs to help teach us?
Well met! Fellow newb here. Hoping this post gets some traction in the forums, as it would be nice to get together with players of the same experience level. :)
Check out my Noobling Grotto post if you want to learn. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9754409/noob-game-3-dot-5-lfp-homebrew-tuesdays-6-pm-mt-canada/?pageforid=9756295#post-9756295
Hey hey! I love hosting for new players! DM me anytime
I'm a new GM Trying to host a new game! I'd love to GM For you.
I’ve played one session and second session had been cancelled. I’d love to get involved with something on weekday evening around 6pm PST.
Hi! I'm new to D&D too, It'd be great to play with someone on weekdays or fridays. I live in GMT+3 though, but can possibly play with other timezones.
This is looking good. Got ourselves a link to the Noobling Grotto, some beginner players, and even a new GM! How many players do we need to hold a game? (I suppose even if we're short a few we can use it as a learning session anyway.) What all do we need to get started....an audio/video connection and just show up?...or do we need some prerequisite studying to do first? I'm pretty available on most evenings any day, and can be flexible on weekends. (U.S. Central Standard Time)
Sounds like a massive response already, and I myself am even intrigued at a 3.5e setting! If you were looking for 5e, or any of the others coming across this thread, I'm just gonna leave this here https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9702984/lfp-d-and-d5e-free-interest-check-the-far-lands-prodigies-new-players-and-first-timers-focused-2-slash-3-shot-games
