2nd of Marpenoth, 1492 (HighSun)     We come back to the party having accidentally summoned Gorthok, Talos' pet thunderboar, who quickly charged and rammed into the nearby grouping of orc and half-orc zombies. The party reacts quickly, beating it down with various forms of magic and magical items. After a quick bout, the party having outnumbered and outplaying the beast, they fell the boar before it was summoned back to the skies.     The party takes a moment to regroup and search the area, gathering up a few items left by the half-orc anchorites of Talos' dwellings. They find a potion of invulnerability and a shield with a +1 enchantment. Briar orders his remaining zombies to gather the anchorites' bodies and follow back to the centaur's home who graciously hosts them for the evening and the next morning, offering them berries and nuts as a morning meal. After Briar does his morning ritual of reviving the half-orcs to zombies, letting one orc expire, he and the rest of the party head off back towards Phandalin.     Upon returning, Alatar tries to head to the inn in need of a refill of ail in his waterskin, but makes a wrong turn into Barthon's provisions as he was starting to close up for the evening. Finding no ail there he leaves Barthon as Briar comes to purchase something that could cover Marrow while he's in town, finding the best option to be the purchase of a tent for two people. Barthon mentions while he's there due to Briar and his siblings' aid in prior adventures, he's willing to offer to find them any item they may require on their travels, even if he doesn't have it in stock, he'll be sure to find a way to order it for them. He also asks to let his sister Naisis know that her order from the carpenter was ready for pickup.     The party finally makes it to the in, where Tolben tends to the party's needs and presents a package that they've received through the mail. They find that their sister Neristina had sent them a letter explaining her sudden departure and that she sent them a package of silver engraved rings that she has blessed for them to use. The party happily wear the rings before they head to bed for the night, having had several long days away from any proper bed, they all pass out with relative ease into the night.
