Can you play people that are workers in the arena?

The spugorath in charge is very hands free though his highlords certainly have some fighters. they only provide for thier fighters and valued slaves. Everyone else is on thier own.  The idea of the arena is there is no set day. (i'll try to have some regular times i'm on in one way or another.. As to whatys possible if you want to sell arms or equipment..(maybe a hightech  versoin of a hardware weapons? A technowizard etc.. go for it msg. people here or in the game room or n discord.   Maybe your a Technowizard/smithy and want to show off your gear. aproach another fighter that seems like they got potential and plan it. Theres really no limit to what the arena can be. if you need a g.m. ruling i.m. me beyond that. this works best if you all talk to each other. theres two ways the aarena works. 1. is as a anything goes.         And 2. as developed  as a rp based around the arenas (remeber theres races, fights, monster battles, etc. etc.) any industry will center around it. maybe you want to  plan third party buying/stealing/etc. of nurani gear for resale here (remeber the splugorath hate nurani.) Do you have a runner ship/crew and do that. find another character to be face for your group.? if you all want to invest time as a serious thing i'm all for it. For the most part my investment of time will be during the week. I have lots of free time so. i have been trying to make sure everyone has sheets, ways to contact me and everyone else. Just dont be shy talk to each other. voice is not necessary (though is helpful). we're near 200 people here so...

Do you want to set up a bar that caters to arena participants? Patrons? Do you have a chef that wants to make money having a group vendors going through the stands.? Do you want to make a hotel? Do you have the plan on being a person that fronts money to fighters (bet on them keep 70% they keep 30%) ? Do you want to do the roman style lord/slaver with his stable of gladiators? (likely a modified versoin of the capitalist entrepreneur?) (Really you would have to have for a continued storyline thing a very good reason to have so much money. I dont think other players are going to just accept. "my g.m. gave it to me.lol." Though hey maybe your plan is to  take a character that starts with something valuable, then sells, For example a heroes enchanted weapon character. (but has a good education with business and finance skills. Really its not hard to plan out some things. Sell a vehicle you start with buy a 1 way ticket to the arena. And become a financier.) as for the Splugorath he makes his money from broadcasting this rent (to p.c.'s) slaves market fee's etc. (assume you will be paying some rents for places, lots, housing. Heck a number of the slaves are people who cant pay rent and such he doesn't allow vagrants. So dont be shy about betting all your money on yourself.

ok easy explanation: Sdc: you me everyone. You take a rubber ball and throw it hard at us and it hurts (bruises etc.) ((we're talking from say 10 feet away.)). Now you take that same rubber ball and throw it against a tank. (Same distance and such.). Yopu can throw that ball all day long, likely killing the person. But the tanks just going  to sit there un-harmed (although the crew in the tank might get bored with the rubber ball guy and just shoot him.). ((a old-style modern tanks main gun would do 1d6*100 sdc (or 1d6 mdc damage.) (as a note a modern our era tank would have from 1000 to 2000sdc or 10-20 mdc.) A modern rifts era tank would have 300-1000mdc.) So most sdc weapons would not harm it at all.). theres many supernatural creatures or mortal creatures that have that kind of resilience. though a impact from a high sdc damage gun may knock him on his but. He/she/it would likely get up annoyed..(maybe thier clothing got damaged but that's about it.). Posted so people new to the arena/palladium  can understand.
