Can't level my sidekick

After a 25 year hiatus I've jumped back into D&D.  I kept current on the sourcebooks in case I ever wanted to play.  A couple of months ago I purchased several books on D&D Beyond only to find out they didn't have a VTT.  I now have purchased the DM bundle on here.  We had been playing Dragon of Icespire Peak and are currently level 4.  I recreated my gf's character here and leveled her up.  For the life of me I can't figure out how to level the sidekick.  So far my only option is to create it from scratch.  I've spent a buttload of money and am still having to resort to using printed materials.

unforunatly need to level them manually, as it seems Roll20 didn't implement the sidekick classes as regular classes in the Compendium/Charactermancer. You'll just have to read the compendium handouts on sidekicks while levelling/creating them.

Thank you.  I am in the process of doing that now.  It is just the two of us playing so she needs a few sidekicks.
