Ch. 55: Mormesk the Wraith, A Spectator, Flaming Skull, Zombies and Skeletons, Oh My!

Rolo: morning   Roqar: Morning Drow Hehe Chilly morning here about 30 below zero windchill but sunny   Rolo: nice   Roqar: Typical for early Febuary hehe Here in Wisconsin as long as my car starts after the game   Rolo: philadelphia here   Sirus: I am here also. Yep. Sounds like winter. Try New England.   Roqar: Hows the weather there?   Rolo: hope roll 20 is better today no slowness   Roqar: So far no probs have not been kicked out yet   Rolo: 41 but feels 33 lol   Roqar: Lived in Upstate New York for a few years Gets cold there also   Sirus: Looks like today will be some spicy Spectator business.   Sirus: Correct, all is well.   Sirus: Btw I feel decently confident I could handle Avery if she doesn't show up. Actually, that could even make this upcoming thing a lot easier to do.   Roqar: Cool wont be surprised if they dont show be nice if they do   Sirus: Indeed. flex them bard skills   Roqar: Played a Bard for awhile made a wrong turn and got killed but not before actually killing someone with Vicious Mockery haha   Rolo: nice   Sirus: Nice. Talked them to death.   Rolo: i usally play a necromancer   Sirus: Am new to 5e, so will be glad to try everything at least once. DM has arrived.   Roqar: I'm fairly new also 3rd Character Bard and Fighter were first and 2nd now Rogue thinking next will be Barbarian   Sirus: Unga bunga.   Dungeon Master (GM): Hello All!   Sirus: Heya.   Roqar: Hey   Rolo: hi DM   Sirus: Yeah so no sign that Avery is going to show.   Dungeon Master (GM): Ok, shall I leave the dynamic lighting off, in spite of Roll20 announcing they updated it for this game?   Sirus: Yes. It's a performance black hole If it's making everyone crash, then leave it off.   Roqar: I would say Yes also it will just slow things down either way   Dungeon Master (GM): alright then   Sirus: btw DM, if Avery is indeed gonna be a no-show, I feel confident I could handle her character until we can retire her from the campaign.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Sirus, she's all yours then.   Sirus: Sweet.   Rolo: Rolo is ready what we have to do next?   Sirus: Waiting for DM to start us off properly.   Dungeon Master (GM): Mormesk the wraith, wants you to go north and deal with the specator.   Roqar: Ok Lets go then   Rolo: does rolo n know anything about spectors?   Dia Xiloscient: Is that a cliff just north of us? Is there anything already there to help climb it?   Dungeon Master (GM): i believe someone rolled on it and yes you know they have many eyes, are spherical in shape and guard treasure. it's just 10 feet up the stairs there   Roqar: Thats all we need to know hehe   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "A Spectator guardian. My lore's a bit rusty, but....Avery, any chance we could talk the Spectator into just leaving?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Might be worth a shot. I suppose..."   Rolo: sounds good hope it works   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Looks around, her eyes seeming to wander as if only half-paying attention.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We can try anyways, might save us some pain and trouble"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Avery. Hey, Avery. Eyes forward, please. We're gonna need you to pull this off."   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Hm? Oh, sorry, sorry. I'm good."   Roqar the Elf Rogue chuckles as she was looking over the Barbarian herself   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Looks over to Roqar after a moment or two.   Roqar: Both may pop up sometime   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...Something on your mind, Roqar?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: " Grins  Yes, finding treasure and having a good time with friends"
Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Yeah, well, the reward isn't you ogling me. At least try to be professional, if you please?" Shakes her head and makes her way up the steps.   Rolo: after you   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I always try to be"   Buddy D.: m0orning yall,   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Giggles to herself, and followed, also making her way up the steps.   Rolo: morning   Sirus: Heya.   Dungeon Master (GM): I'll say she has about a minute left on the detect magic and that magical aura's are the strongest yet coming from the door of the 2nd structure. Hello Buddy!   Rolo: DM is my mage armor still active?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes definitely   Rolo: ty   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "I sense more magic in that room. Perhaps that's the best place to look for the spectator?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue (Roqar will insist that Rolo go before she does)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Worried, Roqar? Let me go first. If it is the Spectator, might be able to warm him up a little..."   Rolo: no problem i like to be in the middle   Dia Xiloscient: Can I see anything about the type of magic?   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "What me worry? not a problem for me,  Usually "   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "It's fine to admit it. This place is dangerous. A bit of concern is healthy." Probes the doors a bit with her thieves' tools first as a matter of precaution.   7 | 20 Thieves' Tools  (5) Marcuria Violezi   Sirus: Cool. Nice 2.   Rolo: would u like me to try mage hand?   Dungeon Master (GM): no indication on the type of magic   Roqar: (No traps there)   Dungeon Master (GM): the double door is scorched and cracked. so is the northern door that Juan saw. the iron hinges are partially melted at that.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Mmh. If the door was trapped, the mechanisms are melted by now. Everybody ready?"   Dia Xiloscient: Can I tell if it was natural or magical fire?   Rolo: yes   Dungeon Master (GM): roll a perception check on that Dia   Dia Xiloscient: 10 | 17 PERCEPTION  (2) Dia Xiloscient   Dungeon Master (GM): ok she is not really sure, but it doesn't look natural really.   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "I don't think this was an ordinary fire . . ."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "What do you make of that then, Dia?"   Rolo: hopefully not a dragon   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Lets see if we can open the doors to begin with? Shall we?"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Rolo, look back at where we've come through. Much too tight and narrow for a dragon."   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "Maybe this scorching was intentionally done by someone with access to magic?"   Rolo: dragons are small when young   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....Maybe. Maybe. We can't afford to seize up with doubt now, however. We're going in."   Rolo: possibly   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Reaches over and pulls the doors open.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Maybe it was done to keep someone from opening the doors"   Dungeon Master (GM): they do not budge when you pull!   Sirus: locked? Or sealed?   Dungeon Master (GM): any attempt to pick it open?   Sirus: Locked. Right, yeah marcy will attempt to pick the lock.   Roqar the Elf Rogue offers her crowbar to Marcuria   Rolo: maybe push instead   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Thank you, I already have one. Let's try picking it first. If that fails, then sure, crowbar."
Dungeon Master (GM): well the description does say the hinges were melted so the doors likely open outwards here.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Takes out the Thieves Tools and tries them on the door again, attempting to pick the lock. 20 | 15 Thieves' Tools  (5) Marcuria Violezi   Sirus: (HAH!)   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Marcuria, believes, that if it was locked it should be open now.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Okay. Let's try this again." Reaches over and tries to pull the doors open again.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, simply pulling on the doors, results in them not opening.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Damn it. Okay, plan B."   Rolo: push then   Sirus: The doors open outwards right?   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Its time for a bit of open, says, me, perhaps?"   Dungeon Master (GM): same result when pushing them. Yes, as mentioned you see the partially melted hinges on your side.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Yeah, I think so, Roqar."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Takes out her crowbar and makes an attempt to force the doors now.   18 | 22 STRENGTH  (4) Marcuria Violezi   Dungeon Master (GM): the doors pop open, outwards for Marcuria!   Sirus: yiss the unga bunga flows through me   Dungeon Master (GM): Suddenly Marcuria hears a "Hello!" but can't tell where it came from!   Sirus: In common or undercommon?   Roqar the Elf Rogue draws her shortsword   Dungeon Master (GM): common This large workshop was badly damaged by the ancient spell battle that laid waste to the mine. Worktables taking up two corners of the room are scorched, and the plaster has been burned off the masonry walls. In the middle of the room, a stone pedestal holds a small brazier in which an eerie green flame dances and crackles. The brazier and its pedestal appear to have been untouched by the forces that destroyed this area. Behind the brazier of green flame floats a spherical creature measuring roughly four feet in diameter. Four eyestalks protrude from its central mass, two on each side. In the center of the body is a large eye that stares at you.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Hello to you too." Glances over to Avery with a nod.   Says: "...Easy, Roqar. Let's not make him feel threatened."   Spectator Says: "It has been awhile since i've seen the living in this place."   Roqar the Elf Rogue puts shortsword back in scabbard   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "How long have you been here?"   Spectator Says: "Of that I can not say but I know it has been long indeed."   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Motioned to the others to stay back, before heading into the room, mindful not to touch anything, only keeping her eyes on the Spectator.   Says: "I bring word from the one who summoned you to this place."   Spectator Says: "Oh, really? What word is this?!"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Your service is no longer needed. You are released, and may leave now."   25 | 12 PERSUASION  (8) Avery   Roqar the Elf Rogue chuckles quietly nodding in approval   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, i will take that roll   Spectator Says: "Ah, very well then, I shall leave you be, and I shall leave now!" with that he simply disappears before your eyes!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Pauses for a few moments, and claps. Says: "Nice one, Avery."   Rolo: nice job   Roqar the Elf Rogue claps lightly "Nice work"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Well...that was simplicity itself."   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Giggled and waved a hand dismissively. Says: " Nothing  to it."
Dia Xiloscient: Is my Detect Magic still on? Anything of interest in the room?   Roqar the Elf Rogue looks over the green flame obviously interested   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Examines the room in more detail, now that the Spectator was gone.   Dungeon Master (GM): even though not shown on the map the table in the south east corner has a mace and breastplate also laying upon it.   Rolo: any books   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Any of you good with bludgeons or heavy armor?"   Dungeon Master (GM): Roqar give me an intelligence check Marcuria as well.   16 | 11 INTELLIGENCE  (2) Marcuria Violezi   Roqar: 9 | 20 INTELLIGENCE  (0) Roqar   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Marcuria believes that the strong magics eminate from the brazier with the green flames and is likely what fills this cavern with magical auras.   Sirus: Btw if nobody is gonna complain, I think Marcy will pocket the breastplate and the mace likely to sell   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "This would look so nice in my house"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "The magic is coming from that brazier.....I wonder..."   Dungeon Master (GM): there is a holy symbol on the mace...intel check from anyone?   Marcuria Violezi:   4 | 14 INTELLIGENCE  (2) Marcuria Violezi   Rolo: l will try   Sirus: nah Marcy's got nothing on the mace.   Dia the Elf Wizard Tries to figure out the purpose of the magical brazier   12 | 23 INVESTIGATION  (6) Dia Xiloscient   Dungeon Master (GM): the head of the mace is shaped like a sunburst and looks to be made of brass.   Rolo: rolling 1d20 + 5( 3 )+5 = 8   Dungeon Master (GM): Dia recognized the symbol as that of Lathander's, the god of dawn.   Dia Xiloscient: And for the green flame?   12 | 9 INVESTIGATION  (6) Dia Xiloscient   Dungeon Master (GM): as to the brazier, she believes it may have been used to bind magics to items forged here.   Sirus: Erm ok so this is weird. Weight encumbrance formula is 15 x strength score right?   Buddy D.: yes   Sirus: I am at 108.5 weight and am being told I am encumbered When the limit should be like 270 What's going on there   Dungeon Master (GM): i don't know   Rolo: any books?   Dungeon Master (GM): no books to be seen here   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Well, Dia? What do you say's going on with this brazier?"   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "It looks like it was used to forge magical items." Did I see any magic on the mace and armor?   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....Think it's still usable, by any chance, Dia?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I just think it would look cool, but, if you magic users would use it, I guess its alright"   Rolo: can irty to use mage hand to dip my dagger in the green flame?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes ok, magics eminate from the two items.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "If this thing can empower weapons, you'd find use in it too, Roqar."   Dungeon Master (GM): yes Rolo you can   Rolo: i do then   Dungeon Master (GM): ok the deed is done   Sirus: So is it actually a Breastplate +1 then, or..? Because if so then Marcy might actually make some use of it. It is medium so she can wear   Dungeon Master (GM): oh on the breastplate can be seen a gold dragon motif.   Rolo: should i cast detect magic as a ritual too?   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Walks over to the brazier, and puts her hands into the brazier after seeing what Rolo did, letting the magic inside seep into her gauntlets.
Dia Xiloscient: Did I see any magic on the dagger after Rolo did that?   Dungeon Master (GM): you put your own hands directly into flames?!   Sirus: Oh it's flames in there   Rolo: i offer to use mage hand so no one gets hurt   Sirus: Hm yes ok Marcy is stupid.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok ok   Sirus: Hang on can I take that back or is it too late I kinda forgot it was a burning brazier   Dungeon Master (GM): there are tools on the table for that, though damaged ok, looks like you have another room to the north there.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...Sure, why not?"   Takes her gauntlets off and lets Rolo use mage hand to take them and dip them in the flames like with the dagger.   Roqar: Do they get anything from putting a dagger into the flames?   Rolo: anyone want me to use mage hand to dip their weapons   Sirus: Me.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Go on."   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Sure, why not?"   Dungeon Master (GM): Now with Rolo’s Detect magic still working he can see magical auras emanating from the items placed into the green flames.   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Offers her rapier to be dipped in the flames.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, you can continue to dip your weapons into the flames   Dia Xiloscient: Does everyone want to wait 10 minutes to find out if we're making our weapons stronger with this?   Rolo: i can cast detect magic or identify as a ritual   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Roqar: Sure I'll wait   Dia Xiloscient: Oh, if we're stopping, maybe Rolo should do Identify on the mace or breastplate, while I do Detect Magic   Rolo: ty iwill cast identiyfythen as a ritual   Dia Xiloscient: Ok, so I'm casting Detect Magic as a ritual   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, the items you put into the flames now have a magical glow. Again please state which item you put into the flames and roll a 1d12   Rolo: i say we should also shut the doors while doing this   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Reaches behind herself and closes the doors.   Rolo: ty   Sirus: Marcy has her gauntlets put in, enhancing the attack functionality. rolling 1d12( 7 ) = 7   Rolo: i did my dagger   Sirus: Avery has her rapier put in rolling 1d12( 1 ) = 1   Rolo: rolling 1d12( 11 ) = 11   Roqar: Roqar has a dagger put in rolling 1d12( 9 ) = 9   Dia Xiloscient: (I'm waiting to see the results before deciding whether to put my dagger in.)   Dungeon Master (GM): as to the identification: the mace grants a +1 enhancement and will deal an extra 1d6 to undead creatures. you know that a command will have it glow as a tourch and thus activate the extra damage.   Roqar: (I have more to spare so I'm good)   Dungeon Master (GM): For the Breastplate, it grants a +1 and advantage on saving throws vs the breath weapons of dragons.   Sirus: Oooooh! Using that one then.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, those that rolled for their magically enhanced items, it is for the number of hours it will last as a +1 enhancement.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....Huh. Is that right....well, well...maybe i'll give it a try, then."   Rolo: ty 11   Buddy D.: rolling d12( 3 ) = 3   Sirus: 7 hours.   Dia the Elf Wizard Puts her dagger in the flame using mage hand   Dungeon Master (GM): Please make note of the hours   Dia Xiloscient: rolling 1d12( 1 ) = 1   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Receives her gauntlets and slides them back on, before deciding to don the breastplate with the dragon's crest upon it.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "So, How about we store it at my house? Your all welcome to stay there, have plenty of room"   Dia Xiloscient: How big/heavy is the brazier?   Dungeon Master (GM): looks to be about 2.5 feet in diameter there.   Rolo: would clothing benifet from this as well
Dungeon Master (GM): not flammable clothing i'm sure   Rolo: dam   Dungeon Master (GM): anyone having a look at the north door?   Roqar:   4 | 12 PERCEPTION  (1) Roqar   Sirus: also 5 minutes lost donning armor   Roqar:   26 | 7 Thieves' Tools  (2+0+4) Roqar Any traps?   Dungeon Master (GM): nothing to be heard and no trap is found on the door.   Roqar: open it if its not locked   Dungeon Master (GM): looks to be another workroom. Again everything is damaged in here. a perception check roqar, please   Rolo: anything of value?   Roqar: 2 | 4 PERCEPTION  (1) Roqar   Dungeon Master (GM): nothing appears to be of value in the new room. ok she can't tell what the items in there was used for.   Dia Xiloscient: Anything magic?   Sirus: gonna have marcy take an investigation check on her end for this   17 | 20 INVESTIGATION  (2) Marcuria Violezi See what there is.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Marcuria believes the tools here were used for finishing items, and polishing and lacquering them.   Roqar:   4 | 13 PERCEPTION  (1) Roqar   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Looks like this whole setup was for touching up items....shame it's not gonna see much use anymore."   Roqar: (No traps found on next door)   Dungeon Master (GM): nope, no traps found   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Looks over what there was to see if she could appraise anything valuable hiding amongst the tools.   17 | 16 PERCEPTION  (2) Marcuria Violezi   Dungeon Master (GM): nothing appears to be worth taking to use or of value.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "And we're done here." Says: "Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, I say we go see Mormesk again."   Says: "Now that we got rid of the Spectator, he ought to be in a more generous mood."   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "I would like to see those books of his, if he's feeling generous."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Might get some reward from him"   Rolo: i agree dia   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Begins making her way back to the first structure to see Mormesk. Heads into Mormesk's home again.   Says: "Mormesk..."   Mormesk the Wraith Says: "Mormesk again raises from the floor, "You have returned I see, what of the spectator now?"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "He will trouble you no more, Mormesk. The deed is done."   Mormesk the Wraith Says: "Ah, that is good to hear, and I thank you."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Wasn't any trouble. Now, about your end of things..."   Mormesk the Wraith floats over to the chest and removes 3 diamonds, and coins of various denominations (copper, silver and electrum)   Says: "Here is your reward for ridding of the spectator."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Yeah....i'd say that'll do nicely."   Mormesk the Wraith Says: "You may look over the tomes if you wish."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Took the diamonds and the coins, to split up amongst the others later.   Rolo: ty   Dia Xiloscient: (Was just about to ask permission)   Sirus: how much coin exactly?   Dungeon Master (GM): 1,100 cp, 160 sp, 50 ep
Dia the Elf Wizard Opens the top book and starts skimming   Farren Nidanas: (Sorry I'm late)   Dungeon Master (GM): diamonds are worth 100 gp each   Rolo: i do as well books   Dia Xiloscient: What do I see in the books?   Dungeon Master (GM): Hello Bahrrenn!   Sirus: eyyyy you missed the spectator sadly   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Would it be alright with you if we took the green flame brazier in the room the spectator was guarding?"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Roqar, somehow I doubt that's going to work out well."   Made her way out of the room, satisfied with how things were. It wouldn't be necessary to trifle further with Mormesk.   Mormesk the Wraith Says: "The brazier cannot be removed!"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Great work out there again, Avery. Spectators can be nasty once they start fighting."   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "It's fine. Just putting my talents to good use."   Roqar the Elf Rogue sighs frowns leaves the room   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "No, really. When we get back, I think you'll have earned yourself an extra share of the goods."   Dia Xiloscient: . . . Anything in the books?   Rolo: i continue looking at the books   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "No, no, i'd rather you didn't. Actually, you should keep my share. You need it more than me."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, the books turn out to be historical references.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Really? Why's that?"   Dungeon Master (GM): give me an investigation check on the books.   Dia Xiloscient:   7 | 8 INVESTIGATION  (6) Dia Xiloscient   Rolo: rolling 1d20 + 5( 20 )+5 = 25   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, Dia does not find anything more useful in the books   Rolo: investagetion   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "This has been quite a bit of fun, but...starting to think my talents could be used a lot better elsewhere. Maybe i'll try to get into being a musician."   Says: "You guys worked hard to get this far. You deserve it."   Dia Xiloscient: (Seriously? Every time I've rolled for investigation today, my roll has been lower than my bonus.)   Sirus: Yeah I know that feeling.   Dungeon Master (GM): ha ha!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....Thanks. I appreciate it. We'll put all of this to good use, you can be sure of that."   Dungeon Master (GM): Was Rolo looking at the books too?   Rolo: yes   Dungeon Master (GM): he sees a map folded inside one that looks interesting to him   Rolo: i show it to the party   Dungeon Master (GM): [It would basically be something for another module]   Rolo: may i keep it   Mormesk the Wraith Says: "yes, you may keep the map."   Rolo: ty   Roqar: BRB have to move my car for the plow   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Seeing as the group was wrapping up on this part of the cave, he moves a bit towards the from of the group   Sirus: Can we have a note to take note of the amount of coin actually? I don't want us to forget the number   Rolo: are any books spell books   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "Thank you, Mormesk, for allowing us to look through your tomes. More knowledge is always useful. "   Dungeon Master (GM): that handout note is in the handouts folder   Sirus: actually nvm, loot list. Didn't realize I could edit it lol   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Makes her way over to Farren.   Says: "So, what's the plan? Dead ahead, or off to the west?"   Farren Nidanas: (Wait, I thought we didn't get the brazier?)
Sirus: No, we already did brazier stuff.   Dungeon Master (GM): the sound of pounding surf does reach this cavern coming from the north.   Dia Xiloscient: (We played around with the brazier, but couldn't take it.)   Dungeon Master (GM): [the brazier can not be removed from it's spot]   Rolo: no spell books?   Dungeon Master (GM): no spell books to be found in Mormesk's structure.   Rolo: ty   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Farren listens in to get a better idea what was making that odd sounds up north (Perception check?)   Dungeon Master (GM): yep   Farren Nidanas:   7 | 19 PERCEPTION  (6) Farren Nidanas   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Come on guys, hurry it up."   Dungeon Master (GM): ha!   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Coming!"   Dungeon Master (GM): Farren can't discern what is making the noise that echos throughout the caverns.   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "Hmmm . . . I can't seem to make out what's with that noise . . ."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "One way to find out. I'll take point."   Farren Nidanas: (btw, are those stairs going up or down?)   Dungeon Master (GM): down from your location   Farren Nidanas: (Kk)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Proceeds down the stairs, following the sound.   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "So . . . should we go check on that noise down those stairs or should we check to the west hall?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Well, Marcy seems to have her mind up already.~"   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "So it would seem . . ."   Dungeon Master (GM): A narrow ledge, 15 feet above water level, overlooks a large cavern that houses a surging, seething body of water. The rhythmic booming heard throughout the mines is louder here. At regular intervals, a fresh surge of water funnels into this chamber and slams against the wall just below the ledge. The echo suggests that this cave might be one arm of a much larger cavern to the northeast.   Marcuria Violezi:   Says: "....Looking at all that water just makes me thirsty, have to admit."   Dungeon Master (GM): the water begins to raise up in the cavern!   Roqar: Back   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...! Get back!" Runs back towards the stairwell.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, you back off, just in case, and sees that the water level eventually stops about 5 feet short of the ledge, then begins to go back down.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: ".....Don't think the water's supposed to churn like that...."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Maybe theres something in it that makes it do that?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Someone's awfully nervous.~"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "For good reason. Don't want anyone getting swept away."   Rolo: what now   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "It should be safe to cross, but hug the walls for now, and be ready to double back again if the waves go over the ledge. Agreed?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "We could tie ourselves together and walk around it"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....Not a terrible idea, Roqar. We got enough rope for that?"   Sirus: How much rope would it take for that, DM?   Roqar: I have rope   Dungeon Master (GM): probably 50 ft   Sirus: Marcy has enough rope for it then   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Briefly takes a head count before nodding and taking out a length of rope, about 50 feet.   Says: "Here. Let's see if we can make this work."   Rolo: brb rest room   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Ties the rope around her middle and starts offering it to the others once it was done.
Dungeon Master (GM): say 3 ft around each person and 4.6 ft of space between each of you with the rope.   Sirus: So each person is about 7.6 feet of rope then yes?   Dungeon Master (GM): yea   Sirus: 68.4 feet needed, if Roqar uses her rope as well it'll work fine   Dia Xiloscient: (Though the last doesn't need the 4.6)   Rolo: back   Dungeon Master (GM): ok 50-27=23 ft left between each person (3.8 ft) oops   Buddy D.: I have 50 ' rope   Dungeon Master (GM): forgot one space between you before ok, so moving along against the wall of the cavern now?   Sirus: Let's just say that between Marcy's rope and Roqar's that there is enough to tie them all together so it's easier to make sure the waves aren't at risk of yanking them away. Yes.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Began moving through the cavern again, once everyone was secured with rope.   Dungeon Master (GM): and opps again because I forgot about gunden and sildar   Sirus: I actually remembered to count them this time lol When I did my earlier calcs   Dungeon Master (GM): so yea you'll need to 50ft ropes tied together.   Sirus: Marcy and Roqar's combined is 100 feet yes.   Roqar: yes   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Keep moving north, or duck down here to the west?" Kept her attention mostly on the waves.   Dia Xiloscient: Might as well take a quick peak at that corridor to the west   Dungeon Master (GM): the water does begin to raise back up.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Grit her teeth for a moment, before moving down the western corridor.   Says: "Looks like this leads somewhere else. We keep going down this way, we're not going to need the rope. Want to turn back and go up north, or keep going this way?"   Dungeon Master (GM): again the water level stops 5 ft from the ledge   Sirus: Yes but we're doing it as a safety precaution in the offchance some might get knocked in, etc   Rolo: do see anything in the water   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "If we're lucky, this will connect to the passage we see up north, and we won't have to walk that bit of ledge at all."   Buddy D.: exactly   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "This is a damn narrow corridor, though. I'm gonna be in a bad way if there's somebody down that corridor."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Lets explore this side passage"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Fine. On we go then." Untied herself from the rope and proceeded onwards.   Dungeon Master (GM): hmm, ok, where you are walking now, the ceiling here is only 5 ft in height   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "ANything you see there Marcuria?"   Dungeon Master (GM): but goes to 35 ft from the channel you are in as you enter the new cavern.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Nothing yet. Come over." Says: "Lovely, more corpses."   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Unties himself as well from the rope and follows the two   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...We got company, I think."   Farren Nidanas: ("-.-) (That's . . . ummm . . . problematic. That particular one)   Sirus: ?   Dungeon Master (GM): A blast furnace and a mechanical bellows powered by a waterwheel dominate this large chamber. The furnace is cold and dark, but heaps of coal are piled nearby, along with carts full of unrefined ore. The waterwheel sits in a ten-foot-wide channel cut into the floor of the room, but the channel is dry. Passages exit to the west, south, and east. The empty channel exits to the north and east. More than a dozen withered corpses are scattered around the room. These slain dwarves and orcs are still wearing the remnants of their armor. Floating above them is a skull engulfed in green flame.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....I hate undead."   Farren Nidanas: (From here, I'm I up the ledge or still below it?)   Flameskull Says: "Halt! Who dares to trespass here!"   Farren Nidanas: (am I up*)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Depends who's asking."   Buddy D.: can we climb out lol   Sirus: Probably not if I had to wager a guess.   Flameskull Says: "floats closer to the party: It is I whom speaks! And you should not be here! Turn around and go back from whence you came, I warn you!" it's only 5 feet deep where you are, so yes you can climb out.
Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Why is that? What has happened here? Surely we could work something out."   Dungeon Master (GM): are you climbing out Juan?   Flameskull Says: "A fight has occured here long ago when Orc intruders and their wizard masters invaded." Says: "Simply leaving here will work things out as you are not authorized to be here!"   Dungeon Master (GM): did Juan climb out of the trench?   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "I'm afraid we can't leave yet. We're looking for someone who's down here, and might still be alive."   Buddy D.: yes sir   FlameSkull Says: "You must leave now!" as Juan starts to climb out, some of dead along the floor here begins to raise up!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Juan, you idiot!" Rushes over to Juan quickly to pull him back down off the ledge.   Farren Nidanas: (Man, SIldar means business XD)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Nope, flameboy's got the right idea, we're out of here!"   Flameskull Says: "This is your final warning, Please leave the caves at once!"   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "Where should we go? Up the channel?"   Dungeon Master (GM): [there may be more behind the big contraption you can't see yet]     Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "I'd REALLY rather not take my chances with these zombies. Let's just go back. We need more preparation than this."   Dia Xiloscient: He'll probably attack if we go any direction other than back out the way we came   Buddy D.: exactly I dont want to play with zombies without preparation   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "Sildar, RUN BACK!!"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Well, this is a fine kettle of fish. That's a lot of zombies he's got sitting around him."   Farren Nidanas: (Does the group know this path also leads to that engine room?)   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "My bet is that we wont find our Dwarf among them, so lets just walk around the pool"   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "I'm not afraid of a fight, but i'd rather not get ourselves all turned into walking corpses in the process."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "My gut tells me the north path there just leads back there as well, Roqar."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Just from the other side."   Dungeon Master (GM): well, from the ground perspective it heads west, so likely into the cavern you were just in and yes you would have seen the opening from where you were just before the big wheel.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Well, we could just avoid the area then"   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "It looks like this western passage leads back to him in a way where he wouldn't have the high ground."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "I'll let you all take a vote on it, but I say we go back, check things out down the south end of this cave." Says: "Sure, but that's a flaming skull coming at me down a narrow corridor. No thanks."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "If we were really going to go that route, i'd say to make a stand in the water cavern. See what throwing the zombies off into the water does for their attitude."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "My vote is head south"   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "How about we traverse up north from the pool?"   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "Heading south for now sounds good."   Dungeon Master (GM): if you go back south into the fungi cavern, you need to make constitution checks   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "South sounds good. We shouldn't overextend ourselves."   Sirus: .....Oh. Ack. Was that a thing on the first pass through?   Dia Xiloscient: (? We didn't have issues with the fungi last time, right?)   Rolo: ?what way is south   Dungeon Master (GM): if you read the summary from last week I mentioned an overlooked aspect of the fungi cave   Sirus: How much damage is that on a fail?   Dungeon Master (GM): a lot is all i will say   Sirus: ...yeah uh   Dungeon Master (GM): there may be a way to deal with the fungi of course   Sirus: can it be burned out?
Dungeon Master (GM): seems like an idea there   Sirus: Okay, gonna run a check real quick.   Avery:   9 | 12 INSIGHT  (0) Marcuria Violezi   Rolo: uwant me to firebolt it   Avery: 9 | 16 INSIGHT  (3) Avery   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "Sounds like a majority has an agreement"   Sirus: Wow ok Avery is out like a light.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, she's not sure of what to do, neither is Avery, but the fungi grows everywhere along the ground...you can't avoid it.   Sirus: Everyone run an insight check to realize fungi dangerous   Dia Xiloscient: Marcy, maybe I can push the zombies backwards with a flame sphere, and then you and other melee fighters would have a chance to get through the corridor and not fight anything there?   7 | 8 NATURE  (4) Dia Xiloscient   Sirus: Oh we are doing nature instead?   Dungeon Master (GM): Dia can't figure anything out about the fungi     Avery: 12 | 11 NATURE  (4) Avery   Dia Xiloscient: (My nature is higher than my insight, and made sense.)   Rolo: opps   Dungeon Master (GM): Avery can't either, she knows nothing about which is poisonous and which is not or anything else. oh ok   Sirus: What's the DC on this?   Rolo: do u want me to roll investigate   Dungeon Master (GM): i would say simply your passive score which is 15 for Avery   Marcuria Violezi: 11 | 15 NATURE  (2) Marcuria Violezi   Dungeon Master (GM): same with Marcuria, anyone else want to try?   Farren Nidanas: (was it nature, insight, or inves?)   Sirus: I would say everyone else gets to roll a Nature or whatever and if everyone fails, then Marcy has to roll a con save.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "I know that burning stuff makes smoke and the smoke might get us, but its the best idea I get, burning it"   Farren Nidanas:   17 | 19 INVESTIGATION  (1) Farren Nidanas   19 | 6 NATURE  (1) Farren Nidanas   INSIGHT  (4) Farren Nidanas   Dungeon Master (GM): only if you attempt to walk through the cave ok ok   Sirus: Looks like Farren's got it.   Dungeon Master (GM): Farren can tell that the fungi along the ground is poisonous and could release a poison cloud   Roqar: 1 | 1 NATURE  (0) Roqar   Sirus: Oh man.   Dia Xiloscient: Roqar thinks the mushrooms are delicious?   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Was about to walk toward the cave when she saw Farren approach her.   Dungeon Master (GM): ha ha yea, Roqar   Roqar: Yes tasty   Sirus: MMM POISON, NOMNOMNOM.   Rolo: lol   Roqar: shrooms   Buddy D.: schrooms yum   Dia Xiloscient: Does anyone know whether a blast of cold would kill the fungi?   Buddy D.: wheres willie   Dia Xiloscient:   21 | 21 NATURE  (4) Dia Xiloscient   Buddy D.: it could   Sirus: waiting for farren now. to save marcy from her own bad decisions
Dungeon Master (GM): someone did mention something that could work here   Rolo: fire bolt   Sirus: Can we please wait for farren to post first   Dungeon Master (GM): well that and something else   Dia Xiloscient: I'm guessing the fire would work, but if my ray of frost would also work, that wouldn't give us a ton of smoke.   Rolo: k np i will wait   Dungeon Master (GM): the fire bolt would only get a little patch at a time. what other flaming thing was mentioned before?   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk I inform the group about the nature of those mushrooms and their noxious properties   Roqar: flaming sphere   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "..! Shit....thanks for the heads up, Farren....the fungi has to go then."   Dia Xiloscient: Oh, I had suggested flaming sphere to move the zombies and give us better positioning on the battle field. It's a 3rd level spell, so not rushing to use it until we at least confirm that fire works on the fungi.   Farren Nidanas: (Wait . . . can't we just . . . hold our breath or bover our mouths and noses with a layer of cloth?) (cover*)   Sirus: It might go through your skin. We can't now for sure if it's purely respiratory. Which means you eat a con save Flame Sphere could be used easily to just roast all the fungi   Rolo: i only have fire bolt   Dungeon Master (GM): yes that would rolling along the ground burning all in it's path   Dia Xiloscient: And we know that it won't result in poison smoke?   Sirus: The fire will incinerate it to carbon. Which is harmless.   Buddy D.: exactly sirus   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "...Dia. You're up."   Dia Xiloscient: Ok, I look around Farren and cast Flaming Sphere, starting here   Dungeon Master (GM): ok done   Dia Xiloscient: DC14 Dexterity   Save A 5-foot-diameter sphere of fire appears in an unoccupied space of Dia Xiloscient's choice within range and lasts for the duration. Any creature that ends its turn within 5 feet of the sphere must make a Dexterity saving throw (with a DC of 14). The creature takes 2d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. As a bonus action, you can move the sphere up to 30 feet. If you ram the sphere into a creature, that creature must make the saving throw against the sphere’s damage, and the sphere stops moving this turn. When you move the sphere, you can direct it over barriers up to 5 feet tall and jump it across pits up to 10 feet wide. The sphere ignites flammable objects not being worn or carried, and it sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd. 9 fire 60 feet Flaming Sphere Dia Xiloscient   Dungeon Master (GM): and you move it along the path to the other exit?   Dia Xiloscient: yep, rolling it side to side a bit, making it a wide path   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Sirus: should be able to clear a path all the way within 60 feet   Dungeon Master (GM): as you do this the fungi is burned away and actually the sphere flames up even more as poisonous gases is burned up as it moves to the opposite exit.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "That's beautiful work, Dia."   Dia Xiloscient: I get a total of 300 feet, so I clear out all of the middle section, and most of the top one.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Dia the Elf Wizard Says: "Thank you."   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "Good job."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok after you let the fires die down you can proceed to get to the other side now.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Moved back into position once Dia had finished her work with the flame sphere. Checked the ceiling, just in case.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok looks like you have a door visible to the north and two doors to the south   Sirus: marcy is checking to see if there's a sturge in the room, just in case, looking at the ceiling because paranoia   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, none to be seen on a casual inspection   Roqar: (Nothing wrong with a little paranoia)   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Extends her torch out, carefully trying to see if there was any danger in the corridor up ahead before proceeding.   Rolo: did we undo the rope?   Sirus: yes   Buddy D.: yes   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, no apparent obvious danger up ahead though you see the area south has caved in   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Approaches the west door and probes it with her Thieves' Tools.   8 | 16 Thieves' Tools  (5) Marcuria Violezi
Dungeon Master (GM): no trap is to be found   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Tries opening the door, decently content there was no trap.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok Splintered stone benches and heaps of rubble from a partially collapsed ceiling fill this room. Amid ruined stone bunks and toppled weapon racks are the bones of several dwarves and orcs.   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "....Farren....mind helping me check this room? Don't feel like getting jumped by a Stirge again."   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk he nods and does a close inspection in the room   22 | 10 PERCEPTION  (6) Farren Nidanas   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, as you go about inspecting the room, you notice that the bones beging to stir and knit together!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Ah for the love of....Juan, you got this stuff going on....send em packing."   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "Damn . . ."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok several skeletons have formed! And they are attacking!   Marcuria Violezi: Marcuria, the Human Barbarian, gets ready to make an attack move! INITIATIVE ROLL: 5.16   Dia Xiloscient: 21.16 INITIATIVE  (6.16) Dia Xiloscient   Dungeon Master (GM): make your initiative rolls folks!   Roqar: Roqar, the Elf Rogue, gets ready to make an attack move! INITIATIVE ROLL: 7.16 Dia, the Elf Wizard, gets ready to make an attack move! INITIATIVE ROLL: 25.16   Sirus: Oh is this rough terrain we're in, on this hallway? It's being marked as 10 feet instead of 5.   Roqar: migt bedo t bodies and rubble   Dungeon Master (GM): ok yea that has to be wrong considering the size they originally had the tokens in here but ok go with the 10 ft per square   Dia Xiloscient: So then 4 of us should be able to fit in a square?   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Began to chant a powerful song laced with magic, granting inspiration to Marcuria.   Bardic Inspiration Avery Class: Bard You can inspire others through stirring words or music. To do so, you use a bonus action on your turn to choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Bardic Inspiration die, a d6. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Bardic Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest. Your Bardic Inspiration die changes when you reach certain levels in this class. The die becomes a d8 at 5th level, a d10 at 10th level, and a d12 at 15th level.
Dungeon Master (GM): I shrank the monster tokens to be roughly shoulder to shoulder length to give more visible space for moving around   Sirus: Marcy gains a 1d6 Bardic Inspiration Die to use.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok so the bard's magic is at work and everyone gains a D6 for their rolls hmm ok turn marker is definitely out of whack so much so that it is not even taking the commands   Sirus: Just gonna have to cycle it manually I guess. That Roll20 quality. Dia's turn next.   : ROUND 1 Dia , it's now your turn!   Sirus: Ah there we go   Dungeon Master (GM): there it goes now   Dia Xiloscient: Ok, I want to stop the skeletons in the back from reaching Marcy and Farren, so I cast Web   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Dia Xiloscient:   Web Conjuration 2 Casting Time:  1 action Range:  60 feet Target:  A point of your choice within range Components:  V, S, M (A bit of spiderweb) Duration:  Concentration Up to 1 hour Dia Xiloscient, conjures a mass of thick, sticky webbing at a point of her choice within range. The webs fill a 20-foot cube from that point for the duration. The webs are difficult terrain and lightly obscure their area. If the webs aren’t anchored between two solid masses (such as walls or trees) or layered across a floor, wall, or ceiling, the conjured web collapses on itself, and the spell ends at the start of her next turn. Webs layered over a flat surface have a depth of 5 feet. Each creature that starts its turn in the webs or that enters them during its turn must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is restrained as long as it remains in the webs or until it breaks free. A creature restrained by the webs can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. If it succeeds, it is no longer restrained. The webs are flammable. Any 5-foot cube of webs exposed to fire burns away in 1 round, dealing 2d4 fire damage to any creature that starts its turn in the fire. SPELL SAVE DC : 14 SPELL SLOT LEVEL 21 OF 3 REMAINING I think that should catch 5, 6, 7, and 8? (It's 20 foot sides, not radius, so 10 ft from where I center it.)   Dungeon Master (GM): right there?   Dia Xiloscient: Yep   Sirus: nice thing is 9 is at risk of also getting stuck   Dungeon Master (GM): it would get 4 and block the one in the back there   Sirus: 9 has to stay put or risk also getting stuck   Dia Xiloscient: After casting, I back out of the way. eot : Dia 's turn is done. Skeleton #07 -WEC04 , it's now your turn!   (To GM): Strength skeleton Ability:  14  |  9   Dungeon Master (GM): ok he rolled a 14 DC so he can get out of the webbing   Farren Nidanas: (Sorry guys, but I need to go out right now. Bye . . .) : Skeleton #07 -WEC04 's turn is done. Skeleton #06 -WEC04 , it's now your turn!   Roqar: Bye   (To GM): Strength skeleton Ability:  12  |  2   Dia Xiloscient: (Bye)   Dungeon Master (GM): he remains stuck : Skeleton #06 -WEC04 's turn is done. Skeleton #02 -WEC04 , it's now your turn! EOT ⇨   Sirus: Reminder, her AC is 17 now, not 16, due to enchanted breastplate.   Dungeon Master (GM): attacks either Farren or Marcuria:  5 Marcuria   (To GM): Shortsword skeleton Attack: 21  |  13 Damage:   8  piercing Attacks: Marcuria!   Dungeon Master (GM): a hit for 8! It is being whispered to me, : Skeleton #02 -WEC04 's turn is done. Farren Nidanas , it's now your turn!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Agh..!.....Farren, think we better back out of here. This is a bad spot."   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Farren Nidanas the Elf Monk Says: "You first, I'll cover you"   Sirus: Don't think Marcy can disengage or anything as a reaction so.... Correct, DM?   Farren Nidanas the Monk, Attacks with the Unarmed Strike (Fists) at Skeleton #02 -WEC04! Strike Hits an AC of  22  |  18 For  11  Hit Points of Bludgeoning Damage!   Dungeon Master (GM): ok a hit! ok
Farren Nidanas 's turn is done. Roqar , it's now your turn!   Dungeon Master (GM): yea Sirus   Sirus: Could Roqar run in and try to yank Marcy out of the way? or is that too far   Dungeon Master (GM): actually she can since the map is supposed to be 10 ft squares   Roqar: 17 | 12 STRENGTH  (-1) Roqar   Sirus: yank me hard daddykins lol   Roqar the Elf Rogue she yanks Marcy out gives her a quick kiss   Dungeon Master (GM): let's just use the perspective we see as how close they are where you are at the door : Roqar 's turn is done. Skeleton #04 -WEC04 , it's now your turn!   Dungeon Master (GM):   Shortsword skeleton Attack: 6  |  5 Damage:   7  piercing Attacks: Farren Nidanas!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "..!....Cheeky...agh, thanks anyways."   Dungeon Master (GM): a miss!   : Skeleton #04 -WEC04 's turn is done. Rolo , it's now your turn!   Dungeon Master (GM): yes we can stop here!   Roqar: Call it for next week   Sirus: Yeah that'll be fine. We can pick it up next week.   Roqar: Roqar can try to yank Farren out   Dungeon Master (GM): I could try blowing up the map but that would screw up the dynamic lighting layer but we aren't using it so, maybe i will try it   Sirus: Farren can disengage and get out on his own.   Dia Xiloscient: Maybe our tokens can be resized to be smaller?   Dungeon Master (GM): yes i can do that do, in fact i had them smaller once before. I wish WotC would use overhead views instead of face view tokens   Sirus: Aight, maybe do that for this. The skeletons are at least presumably human-size. So that's not unreasonable.   Dungeon Master (GM): orc and dwarf to be exact   Sirus: Alright.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok folks thanks for playing today and see you all next week!   Sirus: But yeah we'll stop there then. Good game, was productive, eventful and fun.   Roqar: CYA Fun time   Dia Xiloscient: Bye
