Knock is in if the other questers aren't interested, assuming he survived Lizardfolk 2
Aragorn Redeyes Level 2 warlock with a friendly doggy companion
Sadly I don't think Momma Teres can make this one. You'll be fine without her.
Sorry can't make it on this day.
Linh (Level 2 Spiritfolk Kensai Master of the Unseen Hand) will be there :3
If this is on the Wednesday like you guys were discussing in discord then Ida will be down.
I would like to join.  Probably with Elphim assuming I dont kill her in the meantime.

Bimble will not be outclassed by their brother!!!!  Bimblenis gonna go.  Gnome Artificer.
Look out Gobbos, it's the Nimblehands Bros! (Plus some other actually competent characters!)
With the date change Teres level 4 human thief Rogue is good to go

Bimble good to go!
We’re going to change the in-calendar date so it doesn’t clash

I just looked at the calendar and the only things overlapping are Fizzbang 3 and Bodonki - but those are different characters. I should be good to go.
Thoughts on doing this one on Tuesday the 2nd instead of Wednesday the 3rd?
I know this one if full, and I am not sure if it's still Wednesday or Tuesday, but if someone cancels hit me up and I'll bring Solemn Bigheart (Level 2 Hill Dwarf Life Domain Cleric) if I can.

13 Fading I didn't sleep last night. Partly due to the re-occurring spider dreams. But, also today is the day of the treasure hunt. Stealing is all well and good, but a test of skill to find the gold, that's the dream. Plus I was keen to journeying with the Nimblehands and  Astra again. I noticed she sported two pistols for this mission.  Knock a new companion for this journey led the way. Along the way near the Mausoleum, Astra pointed out random statues of animals and other humanoid's. Smells like basilisk to me, as much I would like to be young forever, being literally immortalised in stone is not something I'd consider anytime soon.  That evening in camp we discussed the shipwreck on the map. Could they have been pirates? Was it a trap and the loot had been taken already? Knock told us we were in Beshaba's favour as she wasn't looking at us (I really can't tell if Beshaba is his girlfriend or his god, the guy needs to draw a line between the two). On watch I told Astra about what happened at my old pal Buds bucks night; were we got drunk and broke into a mansion with a bunch of hookers. She really seemed to enjoy it.  In typical adventuring fashion we were attacked at night. Giant leeches nearly drained Knock and Ghargh to death, otherwise we handled ourselves fine.   14 Fading  Most of today felt like a sight-seeing tour along the river, there was something of interest everyone other hour. It was nice for a day without conflict. I think Scorpion enjoyed it too.  15 Fading  We made it to the shipwreck. The bones of the ship were sunk in the swampy mud. It was a vessel I had never seen before, looks military. One of Bimble's creations scouted out and found the name of the ship  'Kaijitsu's Blossom' . The gizmo also reported that the coast we clear. THAT WAS A LIE! I went out first and got jumped by an undead crew. The captain looked into my eyes and I froze. I couldn't move, I felt like that was it, I was never going to be a treasure hunter. Instead I was going to be mud wrestled to death by a bunch of undead. I lied there watching as Knock scared most of the crew away and saw the shambling corpses getting riddled with bullets from Astra's gun. After the conflict, turns out I wasn't the only one to be paralysed by the undead captain mummy....thing. So much effort, so little reward. All we were able to find was some armour and a Katana that was on the corpses - they looked like the stuff from the north in Shibai.  I really wished we had a chance to rest before heading into the cave. It was an absolute clusterfuck in there.  Gimble, Bimble, Ghargh and Knock woke up some skeletons to the east. Whilst Astra antagonised a giant crocodile to the north. The enemies closed in on us. If it wasn't for Gimble I would have been croc food (crikey). There was nothing left to do but run and come back another day. Though that giant crocodile knocking from the roof has taught me something about dodging out the way,.
Beshaba, Hail thee, Lady Doom, bringer of ill omen and the one who makes Knock gawk with shock at a croc. I am unable to tell lately whether my work on the Savage Frontier matters to You at all except to keep you amused. I hate to share such a sad thought with You after all of the work You have done for me, but it is the honest truth of the matter. In the manner of your priests’ instruction, I shall present my argument using The Forms. The Basilisk Den Argument: You aspire to erase my hard work Evidence: A massive crowd of petrified animals and people 30 miles west of Hope, then 6 miles south-southwest Appeal: It was hard to focus on anything when we saw what Teres first believed to be statues. A basilisk , my love? On these innocent people? The only explanation is clear: you thought the balance we brought by removing the lizardfolk had to be counteracted. Query: Why am I here, my love, if You simply seek to counteract everything I do? The Leech Spitter Argument: You mock me Evidence: Another set of giant leeches Appeal: I could not have been more clear, Beshaba, how much I hated these last time. They almost killed Hector last time, and this time, they almost killed me. My attempt to toll the dead hardly affected the smallest of them. It was only through the fast work of those gnomes - I can’t remember whether it was Gimble or Bimble who used all of those firebolts - and the quick defense of the barbarian Ghargh that I was safe at all. Query: Is it funny to You to humiliate me? Kaijitsu’s Blossom Argument: You seek to isolate me from my friends and leave me with no one but You Evidence: The undead crew of the Kaijitsu’s Blossom, the ruined Shibai ship found 48 miles downriver Appeal: Okay, I get it. Every patron deity presents challenges for their beloved. But the outing at the ship was so disastrous that I can only place the blame upon you. Each and every member of our seven-person party, other than me and Astra , were paralyzed with fear by the mummified captain of the ship. Even she was so afraid of it that she could approach no closer, though her bullets were no less impactful from far away. So you left it to me to deal with them all. A challenge, to be sure, was what I thought when I first drew your sigil and turned nearly the entire crew away. But then the guiding bolt debacle. It was as though you didn’t even want me to defeat the mummy. As though You wanted it to sweep them all away, leaving me alone. Alone with You. Query: Was Your last laugh at the whole situation to leave not a single item of treasure on the boat? The Cave Argument: If You can’t have me to Yourself, You seek to kill me Evidence: An army of skeletons and a giant fucking crocodile Appeal: To beset me with an even-more-powerful group of undead after You had removed my ability to Channel your Divinity was needlessly cruel. And I heard You whispering in my ear to give everyone the Eyes of Night. Was it so Astra would see the beast? So she, the only one who could attack it, would draw it out to destroy us? We barely escaped the creature’s den with our lives, and those gnomish machines paid the price. Horrifying to think what could have happened. Query: Why would you do this to me? Summation and Final Assertion At every turn, You have seeked to harm or humiliate me or my friends. Request I will not forget You just because there are others I care about. All I ask is that You remember why I am here: to bring balance . I know I cannot make everything perfect. Just please… try not to make it harder. Jealousy does not become You. Knock
Love it :D
Bravo! Love it!
The Amazing Adventures of Gimble Nimblehands - Part Three Dawn breaks and the sunlight illuminates our hero… ME! The Amazing Gimble Nimblehands… ready to tackle another impossible quest that other mere mortals quake in fear at the sheer mention of…   accompanied by a ragtag group of adventurers keen to benefit from my expertise (it’s conceivable that even I, the amazing Gimble Nimblehands might need assistance with some tasks at times) Facts Party: Gimble - Leader, most intelligent and skilled member of expedition (maybe allow others some moments to shine for their own self-confidence) Teres - Very capable, may allow her to think she’s leading   Astra - Also very capable and accurate with her firearms! Ghargh - Best brother. Has focus issues… require a “bunny” maybe?   Knock - Religious nut job… seems to think there’s such a thing as “luck” as all those with questionable intelligence do Bimble - Words fail me at the ego of this Bimbledolt. He’s now fashioned a saddle to be able to ride his contraption… A pretty uneventful first day. We passed by more basilisk victims littering the road… honestly, we need someone to step up and deal with that! Most important thing to note is that my wonderful new mount, Glory, easily kept pace ahead of Bimble and his MOM! Success! I may have miscalculated this whole “luck” thing. Attacked in the night, Knock seems unlucky to have been the target of Giant Leeches while also simultaneously lucky to have had the Amazing Gimble Nimblehands on watch to ensure his survival! While the ever-bumbling Bumbler hid behind me, I went toe to toe (from a safe distance at first of course) with an even gianter Leech! Having dispatched the foul beast, I was delighted to see that Ghargh had bested his opponent (although less pleased to see he had seemingly engaged in an eating contest with the thing… yurch). With some wounds to tend, the group returned to bed safe in the knowledge that I, Gimble Nimblehands was still on watch! (I should note that Bimble and contraptions, MOM and Cosmo , both proved very helpful in defending and distracting… probably a result of some tactical advice I offered in the heat of battle?) Fascinating events at the shipwreck. First, it should absolutely be noted that the Bimbler caused us no end of troubles due to Cosmo ’s inability to spot the obvious ambush, but I’ll come to that… A huge sunken vessel lay about 30ft from shore, a quagmire of mud and filth between it and us. Cosmo identified the name as “Kaijutsu’s Blossom” but the name doesn’t mean anything to me. Hailing it as “clear”, our fearless leader, Teres (wink, wink), leapt forward to investigate. As she reached the ship, it seems she trod on something under the surface and the water broiled with undead filth! Their leader seemed a terrifying sort and while I stayed stock still trying to think of the best tactical option, Teres fell and looked like she was going to be the bottom of a huge zombie pile-on! Cue our “lucky” mascot! Knock strode out towards the ship and seemed to invoke some divine power that caused almost all the enemies to flee! Except their leader… who was not happy and conjured some sort of whirlpool which sucked the “unlucky” Knock into it’s midst! “Luckily” the gods seem to flow through Astra ! Taking steps back (I guess for the fun challenge??) she rained projectiles down on the leader and broke it’s concentration! With Teres somehow dodging blows flailing down on her (ably assisted by MOM ), the enemy leader decided to try and grab Knock but “lucky” for him, Ghargh decided to get involved at that point and ripped the thing almost in two. As it staggered, Astra again demonstrated her deadly accuracy by splitting it’s head open! Victory just as I had mapped it out in my head! It seems Bimble may have spent the whole fight standing rooted to the spot next to me… whether through fear or through his awe at my brain power, I guess we’ll never truly know… Having determined any loot must have already been claimed, we set off for the cave! Advancing in the cave, Knock beseeched his god to confirm if the Eastern path was dangerous. As the party nervously glanced at each other, there was a call for the best gnome to lead the way… without any hesitation… I realised this must mean me and started Eastwards. Suddenly the floor exploded with hundreds of skeletal warriors. As they bore down on me, I rued the missed opportunity to forge my cannon… a minor tactical mistake… Next thing I know, I’m waking up stuffed in the armpit of the Glorious Ghargh . The brave fool had jumped forward to grab me and pull me to safety, taking many hits! I realised we needed to retreat but our escape was cut off by a giant crocodile!!   I’ll admit that things looked very bleak for the Amazing Gimble Nimblehands (plus friends).   However, through some exceptional quick thinking by the Nimblehands brothers (yes, Bimble was very quick to asses and react to the situation, healing Astra at a critical moment), quick moving ( Teres can move like the wind at times - including up walls somehow???), incredible bravery ( Ghargh seemingly holding off a giant crocodile singlehandedly), heroic sacrifices ( Bimble ’s MOM and Cosmo blocked up the hallway with their bodies until they were scrap… I’ve never seen him look so sad.. have I maybe been too harsh on him this whole time? It cannot be easy trying to live up to my achievements and intellect…), and a lot of LUCK (I guess I owe Knock an ale after this!) we managed to escape the cave! Heading back to Hope for now, I know we’ll come back better prepared!   Initial feedback from the focus group(s) who have read Part One and Part Two: “Lead character is compelling and heroic, we need to hear more about him!” G.N. “Amazing story, should publish ASAP without giving profits to faceless publishing executives” G.N. “Get Ghargh a bunny” G.N. “Could a Homunculus be used to type up these stories?” G.N. Critical acclaim from all individuals who have provided feedback - might be time to publish the first few chapters and charge for the serialisation…?
10/10 best seller material!
