Hey all, I first came here a couple of years back and had a look around and decided, after struggling to make nice looking maps and encounter settings, that perhaps the online game environment wasn’t for me. Well, after almost a year of lockdown, I am finally caving and giving this thing a go. So, I am seeking players. In terms of my background, I have been gaming since the 1990’s, mainly with Shadowrun 3rd edition as a GM. I have run long term campaigns for Shadowrun, Traveller and Werewolf the Apocalypse and shorter runs of Scion and Necessary Evil in person as well as many one shots of Paranoia and Call of Cthulhu, so as you can see my tastes are eclectic, but I have lots of “in the flesh” tabletop experience. However, you will notice I have yet to run a fantasy campaign (I was the guy running the odd games while there were always Fantasy GM’s about) and I think the time has come for me to tackle that bastion of gaming. So if you fancy a potential campaign of D&D 5E (Or Earthdawn, but I’d like to try the most famous game if possible) and don’t mind a GM who is low on technological skill but understands how to tell a story and you are available early afternoon GMT times, let me know. I have some inspiration for a world and opening scenario, so am hoping to start a game at the back end of this week but nothing is set in stone yet, just gauging interest at this point. So, any takers willing to put up with me as I learn the interface I guess?
