My wife and I co-GM a game set up in a homebrewed, morally grey world that incorporates scenarios and characters which are not easy to make quick judgments on--while still letting players engage with the setting as they wish. If you are experienced, don't expect enemies to have stat lines you're familiar with; if you're not, tactics and quick thinking will keep you alive in most scenarios. Looking for players who want to explore the bounds of society, who are excited by choices that don't fit a binary of 'good' or 'evil', and who understand that fighting a 600lb troll most of the time ends poorly. By no means is that all there is, but to be forewarned is to be prepared! We have 3 players ATM and are looking to expand. As a player, you should expect a mix of both combat and social encounters. Sessions are typically on Friday evenings from 7-11 pm EST. We're friendly and flexible, and our players range from early to mid-twenties. We're half working professionals, half college students. A couple of big restrictions of note to the campaign are magic and playable races. Our playable races are humans, half-elves, elves (subrace: high, dark, wood, sea), dwarves (subrace: overground, underground), lizardmen, tieflings, warforged, triton, firbolgs, goliaths, satyrs. Magic is restricted to 1 school only for most spell casters and bards work slightly differently. This change is to help accommodate the rules of magic in the setting and we would love to tell you more about it through character creation and exploration of the world!
