[LFG] [5e] Player Looking for a Game 18+

Hello all, I've been playing RPs for only a few years now (D&D and Star Wars), and I am currently DMing a pirate themed D&D campaign. However, the players constantly cancel, and I am not getting my Dungeons and Dragon fix. I'd like to be able to play a character, with a regular game for a change. :) I have a few years experience playing games on roll20, discord and using dndbeyond, but I am wiling to learn new formats. I am not super into the idea of a text based game though. I would love to play in a campaign that is a bit on the darker side, but I of course want to have fun. I just like a little bit of grit with my D&D. But I am open to various kinds of campaigns, and I like to make my characters fit in the world, though I have a few possible ideas rattling around my head.  I like both roleplaying and combat, but a combat only game is probably not for me.  I would prefer a group with players who are over 18. Anyways if you are looking for someone, please let me know!

Are you available on Thursdays 7pm-12 EST? I am running a 3.5 game with simplified rules. We are normally a 2nd edition group but are trying something new for the aesthetic. We just ask if you are going to try to join that you commit the time slot and day. We do not like cancellations unless we are given a good forward notice.
