There have been a slew of bots responding to and starting threads on the forums that are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Is there some kind of gate that can help prevent our robot overlords from taking over the forums? They currently all appear to come from users with 0 games played, GM of 0 games, and 0 forum posts. Maybe requiring a minimum number of hours played (even just 1!) before being allowed to post? Some other kind of account validation process (e.g. captcha, etc.)? Dunno. I'm no internet security expert, just a frustrated user. I realize this may just start a whack-a-mole type arms race, but is there anything that can be done?  EDIT - Thanks, Kenton. Save your votes, everybody . This post was basically just a cathartic expression of my growing frustration.

A more accurate question would be "is there anything more that can be done?" We're not going to share these changes as they happen in order to stay ahead in the arms race, but I did want you to know that we are aware and constantly adapting to more sophisticated bots.
