Looking For Group Suggestion

I tried Looking For Group, and what got a bit confusing, was trying to search. Everytime I searched, it seemed to give the same results, but some were colored differently. It said filter, and what confuses me, is doesn't a filter sift the relevant results? Granted, I did find campaigns that were in the language I asked for, any of the 7 days I asked for, a system I asked for, but it wasn't highlighted for some reason. Maybe it wasn't open to beginners, which I generally am in almost any system, so I checked that. I'm not sure if this is really the right forum even, as this isn't a glitch I think, or a technical problem, but it's a suggestion to refine Looking For Group, so that relevant results are given (I'm not interested in Savage Worlds, but it's showing up on the list when it shouldn't be). I tried narrowing my range, which, honestly didn't make the results more accurate. I did try to use the keywords, but it gave me nothing, but it did tell me that keywords cause an actual search to be done. I tried again, with just one field, and I did get results, my only problem is, is that if I make my search too open, does it give me a general search and highlight? With systems, is it possible to click several, and-okay nevermind, it gives me dark heresy and call of cthulu, so it just gives any. The problem I think I'm trying to suggest a fix to, is cross refrencing. Say I enter in Dark Heresy and Call of Cthulu, it should give me any campaign involving either, or both systems, and it does. If I check the box for 'only find games that accept new players" or however the exact wording is, it gives me ANY campaign accepting new players, even if I just wanted Call of Cthulu Campaigns or Dark Heresy campaigns, it shows me D&D 3.5 Campaigns, about 10+ pages worth, which, I don't think most people would be in the mood to sift through. I will admit that this post started as me just worried, and now that I've done a tiny bit of testing, I'm going to say the suggestion, a better worded one: Please refine the search system I also tried by day, which narrowed results, for example, there are two games for wednesdays, under the two categories I've used simultaneously simply for testing. Now, if I click on frequency or such and such, it, like the experience one, gives me any game running one shot, monthly, etc. The Search System for a group needs to be able to narrow the search better, that was a person who wants to play Star Wars RPGs (any edition), doesn't have to sift through pages of info, just to find a group who won't be too hostile to a newbie. This honestly is the only thing that's made finding a game on here sorta, scary. I'm new, don't have too many friends who want to do anything with you outside of school (which has caused me to have trouble doing any tabletop at all, 18 here), and I figured Roll20 would be a nice way to find an online game, aside from lucking out and finding an irc group forming on a forum I frequent (the only tabletop game I got to play was D&D 3.5 edition with one irc session over irc, and it was a fluke to find, and then there was a time I DM'd, or more twice, Pathfinder), and so, after being lazy and getting around to using the account, I find myself stumped on how to find a game. Sorry if this reads as a newbie just whining, I'm done now. The search seems great, but all I can suggest, is to rework frequency and acceptance of new players.

To alleviate some of your confusion: The highlighted results are campaigns being run by Mentor subscribers. One of the perks is to make their campaigns more noticeable on the search page.

There is a known bug where if there are two games listed in the "Playing Any of These Games" field and another field (such as "welcome new players) is used it gives improper results. The only fields this does not seem to impact are the day and time fields. As a workaround, please search for one game at a time. You will get the correct results. Moving this to the bug reports thread and updating the bug report with the Devs.
