Through the door over there.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, i saw the ping   Sirus: Marcy can get the door I suppose.   Roqar: Roqar will watch the East for now   Rolo: im still invisable last up to 1 hr   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Sirus: Actually then maybe Rolo should take point. Marcy will be right behind in case of danger.   Rolo: k can mage hand the door   Dungeon Master (GM): ok   Sirus: WEW.   Roqar the Elf Rogue Mumbles "Yeah, Let the Drow take point until he turns on us"   Sirus: Yeah pulling a hard nope on that.   Rolo: not good close door   Dungeon Master (GM): Six cracked marble pillars line the walls of this hall, at the north end of which stands a nine-foot-tall statue of a dwarf seated on a throne, a mighty stone warhammer across his lap. Large emeralds gleam in the statue’s eyes. The dust and debris covering the floor has been swept to one side, and a campsite of sorts now spreads in front of the statue. Half a dozen bedrolls and packs are neatly arranged around a rough-built fire pit. A wooden table stands on the west side of the room between two pillars. “It seems that I must deal with you myself. A pity it must end this way.”   Sirus: Erm, invisible? Nobody in that room can see Marcy as she is around the corner, and Rolo is invisible.   Dungeon Master (GM): actually you don't see Nezznar either at the moment!   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "That...is trouble. Spiders. BIG ones."   Roqar: If a door opens and closes obviously someone/ thing looked in/ came in   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Damned if you do, damned if you dont, spiders or bugbears?""   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "That's an easy one. Bugbears don't poison you."   Nezznar the Black Spider Says: "It seems I must deal with this myself, a pity it must end this way. Whom is it that pays us a visit today?!"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Then do we go east ?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Should we answer him? Who may you two be?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "We are merely adventurers, here seeking a friend. My name is Avery. My friend here is Roqar. May I ask what you are here for?"   Nezznar Says: "Quite simply, I am here for the great wealth this old mine has to offer. Whom is this friend you seek? Were you sent here by someone?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "And what might that be?"     Nezznar Says: "The metals in this mine alone is worth a fortune as well as anything left behind from the battle long ago here!"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "On behalf of another friend, yes. Two dwarves, here in this mine. Brothers. We see that one of them is dead, picked clean by forces yet unknown. We are hoping the other may yet still be alive. I don't suppose you have seen him?"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Whispers to Avery "We found a map to here and am looking for someone to help us find treasure"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Yes. That as well."   Nezznar Says: "You must be referring Nundro? His brother is quite worried, and I think it might be best if he were brought home safely now."   Nezznar Says: "Nundro, we have visitors here, show yourself!" a moment later a dwarf appears   Nundro the Dwarf Says: "Yes, What is it you want of me now?"   Roqar: (How does he look to us?)   Nezznar Says: "These girls are looking for you Nundro." he looks beat up   Nundro the Dwarf Says: "Ah, I see, you should not have come here!"   Nezznar Says: "Enough, Nundro!"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Perhaps not, but we have come anyways. As has Gundren. We wish to take him home to safety, before something else happens to him."   Nundro the Dwarf Says: "Ah! Gundren is here as well! Down the far eastern side. We have already dismissed the one who was guarding it. Maybe that could be asked without offending him by saying we don't know whether we need to avoid them for safety?)   Sirus: Yes. To all Let us guide our guests to the spellforge!"   Roqar the Elf Rogue Says: "Me to, Marcy, me to"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, the two bugbears that were down in the trench have now climbed out and with the Nezznar's last command, more bugbears show up down the stairs from the hall! they do not yet know sildar and Gundren are in the cavern below   Sirus: Safe to presume that all of these bugbears are part of Nezznar's crew?   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so now with all the new company here, what will the party do?   Sirus: We are gonna cross the chasm and go fite the zombies and flaming skull I believe.   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so you go along with heading for the spell forge then   Sirus: and then it's off to the spellforge.   Rolo: im observeing for now but ready to fight   Roqar: Lead them to the spellforge, try to take Nundren with us Let them fight the shade for it   Sirus: Yeah more or less.   Dia Xiloscient: (Taking down the zombies with the bugbears as fodder sounds good to me.)   Bugbear #03 -WEC18 the The Dude Says: "All of you, go down first."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Walks up to Avery and whispers in her ear softly, "Avery, what happens when these guys turn on us?"   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Whispers back, "Just have some faith, Marcy."   Nezznar Says: "I will take some of my men to the other side."   Roqar the Elf Rogue Sarcasm "Yeah, Marcy, Have faith"   Dungeon Master (GM): ok, so is any of you going down into the rift then climb up the rope on the other side?   Sirus: Marcy can do I think   Roqar: Roqar will also   Dungeon Master (GM): Do some go with the others to the other side of the spellforge area?   Nezznar Says: "There are three ways into the spellforge, we will split into 3 groups and enter."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Understood. I'd humbly recommend beefing up the middle group, though."   Dia Xiloscient: (Do we want to split the party, or have the bugbears take 2 of the 3 positions?)   Sirus: I would say no on splitting the party.   Dia Xiloscient: Maybe we take the middle, and have the bugbears take the 2 sides? (We definitely don't want to be the group coming from the top, down in the ditch)   Nezznar Says: "Say you two young ladies can go with the bugbears down the chasm and up. The two gentlemen can go with the middle group and the other two ladies can enter through the water passage from the east side."   Marcuria the Human Barbarian Says: "Don't like this idea, Avery..."   Avery the Half-Elf Bard Says: "Sorry, but it is what it is. The furnace is cold and dark, but heaps of coal are piled nearby, along with carts full of unrefined ore. The waterwheel sits in a ten-foot-wide channel cut into the floor of the room, but the channel is dry. Passages exit to the west, south, and east. The empty channel exits to the north and east. More than a dozen withered corpses are scattered around the room.
