One of the frequently recurring elements in roleplaying games is Language. Right now the tools we have available for saying something other players can't understand are: announce that you have done so, and whisper to the players that do understand it. Clever players have come up with a work-around: assign a character sheet to all players that speak a given language and whisper that character sheet. It's not particularly elegant, but it gets the job done. What I think could use addressing is the other end of the equation; the visual effects of speaking a language players don't know. There exist fonts that could dramatically enhance immersion by simulating the look of fantasy and sci-fi alphabets. The two I'm immediately aware of are Tolkien's elvish script, Tengwar, and Star Trek's Klingon script. I'm sure there are others, and a small variety would go a long ways.
